I just discovered your channel yesterday. I have an I ching card deck oracle thats been sitting in a drawer for about 10 years and I just recently decided to start learning about the I ching. After 4 years of reading tarot I wanted to expand my knowledge of divination. These videos have been so wonderful and easy to follow. Thank you so much! And guess what... a few hours after recording this episode I discovered that someone had hacked into my Paypal account and cleared me out!! Likely that Paypal will refund the fraud but it is a blessing as I now know I am compromised. Dream and I Ching fulfilled. Crazy! 😃

i love this. Question. I've ask if a flood will come to my city and there was an hexagram changing to "Approaching". Can it be literal?, like...aproaching?. Or a sign for better times?.

What an interesting question! I would say it is hard to say as the great approaching the small could very much be seen as that. However, my feeling with this hexagram is that it brings a blessing so one thinks that means 'positive' yet a blessing can also arrive in disguise! If you asked a yes/no question that also makes it tough to interpret. Please let us know how it turns out. 😉

Dear Belinda, thanks again for your channel. I must say my latest experience with the book is being very disppointing. I think the book is wrong or at least contradictorily. I´ve been doing weekly consultation about a relationship and every week the mesage is the opposite to the week before. One day it says the relationship is advancing though changes can´t still be seen and next week it says it´s stuck (it is actually stuck so what I don´t understand at all are the positive mesages).

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with the I Ching, both here and in your other comment. I too find the book and answers sometimes confusing, most often when I am asking a repeated personal question where I have huge attachment to the answer. My own philosophy is that less is more. Focus on asking a question that is really important and let it sit for while before you ask again, especially if there are emotions involved. Can I suggest that instead of asking questions related to where a relationship is going (so a prediction focus), reframe your question on 'where do I need to grow in this relationship experience with the other person'. Because we only have control over how we relate to the situation and what we learn through it. And what will be will be and reveal itself in time. Perhaps give that a try and let us know how it goes! 🙏

@@IChingCafe Hi, Belinda, thanks, I just gave a turn to the question in the direction you mentioned and it is definitely more clarifier, at least on a personal development aspect, though, as you said it doesn´t say much about a "future" development of the situation itself. In any case, the personal answer givis also advice about how to deal with time while the situation is evolving. Thanks again.
