The king of England and Scotland! Wales was illegally annexed and their (British) crown disappeared, so all the kings of the UK thereafter has had no legal authority over Wales. And this is why wales has never been, or can never be added to the union flag.

Ah, the UK where the “British” crown isn’t British, but rather English and Scottish, as they are in a legal union. The “British” crown existed independently of the crowns of England and Scotland and ended with Owain Glyndwr in 1415. This is why Wales is not on the flag of the UK, as it was illegally annexed which in turn means the crowns of England and Scotland have no legal authority to add any Heraldic symbols from Said country. Using the Term British to describe anything English or Scottish is a falsity of History as the term was originally used to describe one culture and that culture in English is known as Welsh. Therefor the flag of the Uk is exactly that, a political flag! A flag of union between two countries that were foundered by the Scoti and Saxon peoples, who were never known as British when their nations were founded. This comment will no doubt be hidden by KZbin as it explains the history of the British isles.
