The Units Of Mythic Battles | Bödvar Vs. Brunhild

Today we're looking in detail at two units from the Mythic Battles series. Bödvar Bjarki and Brunhild are both 4 cost heroes yet, when it comes to about everything else they function differently.

haha you really did it 😊 so to the units: During a recent game; i noticed how effective the bear is against Freyr's typical style. I caught him in a capacity 3 area, used his area attack, threw the guard out & then moved someone else in too. Thanx to the baers Fylgia, Freyr was blocked. The area was ful so he couldnt spam-recall & was exposed to the bear's Berserk-attack next turn. Felt really good to have pulled a Freyr-kill off, which i didnt think to be possibble. This move needs good planning though. If i go against the baer, i immediately draft Skuld, the seers with +2 attack Jarl or other ranged units if available. I know it really annoys the bear-playa to have the sleeper constantly poked by them ^^ Great pick if oponent doesnt have high range units. Undraftable if opponent has Skadi 😢 You cant really go wrong with Brunhilde though. Stats are obviously great & all. Just watchout to not get blocked with few activation cards. i found her powa to freely redeploy dead troops surprisingly good ! Felt like Mini-Freyr. I use it more often than i think 😊 Why did you bring up Eystein & Thrud ? I wont complain though. Id love to have them playable at boardgamearena. Did you notice that Thrud's 2nd powa actualy allows her to dodge attacks ? Shes friendly to herself & can move in response to an attack too. Like Theseus but actualy very playable. Too bad not more people comment on the series 😢 I guess its because people are less into the technical aspect. Anyway; Im again lookin forward to your next VS video. Is that Thrud VS Eystein or was i just mistaken ? One last thing: There is a channel called Foyble wargaming. He is in the facebook-group & plans on doing videos on youtube too about all things mythic battles. He needs collaborators, willing to join him in his videos. Maybe something for you & natalie ?

YES WE DID! Totally, that makes sense and is super interesting! Block is helpful for escaping others with block, so much so that I can forget it's orginal purpose. Thanks for sharing about that match. I might've explained this weirdly. But each episode I choose units called: The Jerks. These units I hand pick to counter the main two units we speak about. All those four units could throw Bodvar or Brunhild in some way, which related all of them. I brought up Eysteinn Beli and Thrud because they counter them really well. Honestly, I wish you could experience them on BGA, I draft Thrud every other game lol. For her second power, that is true! I always forget you can count oneself as an ally. We do wish more people would comment but also feel deeply blessed to have you :) and everyone else who engages Thank you for your excitement, and everything you do that makes us want to keep going! @andreasklein525 I was going to go with a titan but since both Odin and Heimdall are from Asgard and both have Gem abilities, I think we'll do Odin vs Heimdall and do a fully titan episode another time.
