I'm 22, was maybe about 3 or 4 years of age when Lisa passed. TBH I didn't really know about her like that until this year.. She's absolutely amazing! She high-key what my generation should've grew up listening to. I listened to TLC growing up but growing up I didn't know Lisa like I do now. This song has been on repeat all month and it's crazy to believe how old the song is but it has a great message behind it. I love Lisa! Her music seriously keeps me going throughout the day when I'm not feeling it. She was so talented and she inspires me to keep going with what I love to do, which is music. I'm also a rapper and just listening to her makes me want to continue on with my skills. I just thank God that I was able to run across her music and was able to become a fan because honestly if she were alive right now, she would've been bigger than all these other female rappers.
