Very cool video and a lovely guitar I must confess a white Strat with rosewood fretboard with 60s Headstock is my dream guitar.

Sweet Axe, and cool story, (love that intro segment!) I hope this wonderful Strat brings you joy forever! Fender’s Ensenada Mexico Plant makes amazing Guitars. Not just “For the money” either. Back in the day(2014 to be exact) I took my time shopping for what I was absolutely convinced would be an American Standard Strat - but after trying every one I could get my hands on, I ended up choosing a Mexican made Standard. It wasn’t because it cost less, I just liked it even better. In fact it’s become my favorite Strat of all time, and I’ve owned and played several, including some awesome vintage examples. As for quality compared to the USA Corona California made gear - I also have a Beautiful American Professional Telecaster, and I can honestly say the fit and finish, and attention to detail on my Strat is exactly at the same high level.

I think he had a Seymour Duncan hot rails in that guitar though. But yeah, I saw a video last week where a guy built a replica of the VMA strat and compared it to the real thing, in person!
