This carries me to understand the depth of an icon: to convey the Truth by applying the gift given to the artist into an image that has let go of ‘the old man’. In this way the Light is available to the viewer without interference from the personality of the artist. There is mystery, and wonder and enchantment combined in an icon. These sacred images relieve us of opinion and carry us to Truth. Thank you, Paul. Well done!

jesus is the mediator of god and guide in the afterlife , why do i need the church if i have him ? what is the definition of church ? is there a greek equivilant in the new testiment ? i was to the understanding that anywhere 2 or more speak of jesus is the church , but also from matthew 6:6 and 6:7 the churches violate those 2 verses of matthew because they pray in front of people when it says to pray in private and because they pray in repetition when it says not to pray in repetition , also great enounciation and prep on this audio , im halfway through atm

​@@BrotherLaymanPaul yeah we can talk about any topics , i just find it odd that all the churches pray publicly and in repetition which directly violates matthew 6:6 and 6:7 , this is one of the many reasons why my church is simply me and my friends talking about jesus , i d dont go to organized churches , i like how william cooper puts it , "are you calling jesus a liar " lol , pertaining to the new testiment and churches that violate the scripture

@@thirdworldassassinbefore having your discussion, make sure to empty your entire mind of all the western concept’s you’ve become attached to from modern Protestantism. You will be blessed by doing this… cause it’s only 10% of what Christianity is, and has also wrongly programmed people about salvation. Leave it behind. Eastern Orthodoxy is the only church God gave us, and understanding scripture properly comes through the ages of teaching’s and traditions of our church. Other’s are wrongfully using their intellect to try and make sense of scripture… that is the wrong way, and has led to 30,000+ denominations… all schisms and/or heresy.
