I can't be sure but I suspect you couldn't evolve into Umbreon but could to sylveon is because eevee knew baby doll eyes. In sword daytime leveling with a fairy move and high affection gets you a sylveon. Seeing as Legends doesn't auto evolve I suspect to get umbreon you would need to have no fairy moves and evolve at night, for espeon it would be daytime without a fairy move.

You’re super right on this. When I recorded this I had completely forgotten how Sylveon evolved. I looked it up a few days ago and it’s 1:1 what you said. Honestly glad I messed up, Sylveon comes in clutch all the time now! 😄
