In 2008 our company downsized - it was a horrible place with very mean people - God stepped in and I got laid off and it was such a blessing in my life. It took me 6 months to find another job - but i think that was God's plan for me to step back and then I found a job by someone overhearing me telling a friend in line at the post office that I was unemployed and a woman came up and tapped me on the shoulder telling me she was leaving her job in 2 weeks and gave me the phone number of the person in charge - I got the job and stayed until I retired. God works in miraculous ways! Hallelujah!

I read Esther and watched the movie for the first time last night and today Pastor Dilena is speaking on it. Coincidence? Nope. Providence.

I just lost my job less than a week ago. I have been downcast (understatement). I went to the gym with my husband and jumped on the step master (my least favorite thing). I opened KZbin and this measage was the first thing to pop up. Talk about the PROVIDENCE of GOD! It is so timely and comforting. I am trusting the Lord! Last night ..... I felt attacked by something strong. I have been shut up alone for a while now. Just me listening to lord . But I felt like I was being pulled out of my body while something was trying to enter in... I got on my knees begging for mercy. Sometime last night I got bit by a cat and I spoke a different voice a threw the cat with a supernatural strength..... and battled with everything I had to get back front and center control...... it was repeating Jesus and mercy for over an hour. And I kept hearing this watchmen has to be taken off the field..... he has to go..... hearing that fueled me to battle until I collapsed. I just woke back up from that event..... I battled many times but this time I feel I almost lost..... I was hanging over the cliff of losing....... and for the first time ever I couldn't figure out what inity I was dealing with but it came hard-core...... today I'm at woe..... I do believe it was dropping to my knees begging for mercy when I did when i got ahead in the moment...... iv been batting something for three years. Always a different enemy..... but this one was in hulk mode and new he was going to win...... Right here Right now I say thank you Jesus..... I can't lose im the only one around me fighting this type of issue..... if I fall they come in wide open on my surroundings..... but why would I say all this...... why are these the words I lay out before u..... I'm simply no one who knows the battle is not mind it belong to Jesus..... To God be the Glory..... I still say enemy you shall not pass.....

The first word of the first journal entry I wrote decades and thousands of pages ago, on September 12, 1994... "Providence." Thank you for the reminder. @@ketiajoseph5939 Thanks. He alone is my heart's desire. I hope at least in some small way that His announcement to Abram is also something He offers to us as His children. Because IMHO, who cares about any other reward if HE is our very great reward. The rest is quickly forgotten and unimportant in comparison if *He* is "what we get." Crowns? Heaven? Mansions? Streets of gold and other nice things? That's cool and fine. Where's Jesus? I'd prefer to spend time with Him, as much as possible. A simple house where Jesus visits often is fine. He's way more interesting and important than anything else or any other reward. Stuff in this world? Nah. Gimme Jesus. Genesis 15:1. Abram's response to God's words in verse 2 makes me sad. Jesus offered Himself, and Abram wanted something else instead. Argh, we are so dismissive of the One who died to be with us. I'd probably do worse cuz I'm weak and full of errors, but at this point, all I want is something like what the word of God (aka Jesus à la John 1:1) said to Abram in Gen 15:1. Thanks for the blessing. May He bless you with His presence as well. Nothing better than that can be found anywhere.
