It is a lore thing, in one of the episodes of Broadside Beach, the series Shipwrecked is connected to, a person interviewed by the protagonist mentions seeing what they thought was a heart beating in the beach sand at the resort

I streamed this tacked on to the end of an already 2 hours longer than usual stream. Playing blind and only finding it through steam recommendations, I thought it'd be a nice short, little horror game. That was nearly 11 hours before I finished it. It's such a treat to play blind. It is part of the story lore that is told in-game and in the creator's channel in their videos about "Broadside Beach" if I'm not mistaken. 3:41 Swimming Bucky Beaver animation was supposed to be used in the opening cutscene. Bucky was intended to swim up to the camera, but it was scrapped. 3:57 Chief Wulf's models are in separate areas because one area is where Bucky finds him and the other is meant for his cutscene. 4:09 This is an old beta version of Blot. A character you will meet deeper into the game. 6:25 Not a Wendigo and appears in "Broadside Beach" videos in the creator's channel as a puppet and revealed to be part of the company Broadside Studio's other shows. (This show was meant to scare children.)

Not sure if its real but I have seen someone while in the pool area have olive looking in from a window then pull back out of sight so i wonder if layer 1 has anything else creepy going on besides the usual husk and unlocking layer stuff.

what i did was type “nextviewmode” until i reached the viewmode “shadercomplexity” this one i found is safe because the other viewmodes remove some textures while removing fog, whereas this one keeps textures while removing fog :) hope this helps

Also, something weird I found was that if you go into the wrong doors at the end of Walter's minigame theres a secret area and if you hit the button there it brings you somewhere else, a weird tunnel (kinda like the place you're brought after failing wolf's boat minigame 3 times) where if you try to progress youre hooked and removed from the zone. But if you freecam you can avoid that and find a boat and the game's logo stuck in the walls of the tunnel and farther in Olive, Walter, Giovanni all behind an invisible wall. Pretty weird.. might have been something planned but later scrapped and just replace with the hook trigger. Also, in the cave demo there's a husk out of bounds playing weird sounds (a posted a little bit of them last night if you're curious about it) and underneath there's a bunch of photos set up kinda like a weird gallery. Not sure what to make of it but it's interesting.

I actually do know what the heart in the beach is referencing ( spoilers for Broadway Beach BTW ) In the first episode of Broadway Beach ( an analog horror series by the same dev before Shipwrecked 64 ) when the protagonist was interviewing people who were at the resort before. Someone said that when they were younger, they were playing tag with Bucky but then they tripped on the sand and when getting up, they thought they saw something pulsating in the sand like a heartbeat. ( note if you want to see this seen you’re gonna have to watch Broadside Film Fest at the end to see it )

in my opinion even with knowing what the game has in store, the experience of playing through it cant be replicated via watching youtubers play it. If you want you can wait, but the fun for me was solving the puzzles and putting together details i never considered while finding secrets. Definitely works both ways, dont hold back if you really want to try it for yourself :)

This is definitely one of the best mascot horror games I’ve ever seen! Though one thing has always bugged me lore wise (MASSIVE SPOILERS! DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOUVE SEEN OR PLAYED THE GAME!!!) So the big twist at the end is that the game wasn’t actually hunted at all, but was made to expose the company who made the games fnaf esc shenanigans right? And there are a lot of arg elements like videos and websites links in the game correct? And this was allegedly released on the N64 for a couple of days, just to be taken down? And the “haunted” version is completely unaltered from what was originally on the N64? Well I think you can see where I’m confused lore wise here. It would be physically impossible to get those video and website pages to work on an N64. I don’t know if I’m just a dumbass and there’s some secret in the game that explains all of this, but how would the restoration team even get the videos/websites to put in the game if they put them in there themselves??? Did the dude who put the OG game on crack just go up to his son after he finished the game and say: “alrighty my boysonchild! I need you to take these floppy disks with my haunted videos/website ideas that expose this worlds version of disney for making the plot of every fnaf fangame’s story a reality, and wait about 20-30 years to remake my creepy pasta game (that’s based off true events) to put it on the internet. then by that time it will be able to host a bunch of different websites and will also be able to put any kind of video on the internet. AND MAKE SURE TO MAKE IT SO THE BUTTONS IN GAME TRIGGER THE WEBSITE LINKS!!! YOU GOT THAT SON WHOS NAME A FORGOT???” Child: **shakes head confusedly** “Alr then we’re all set here, catch!” **Chucks floppy disks at child’s head** “anyways bye lol” **jumps off roof**
