The bug is likely due to the following most vehicle scripts work when the player jumps on the bike, the bike's physics are set to be controlled by the client, and it inserts a local script which controls the bike what is likely happening is when the player dismounts the bike, the local script sometimes fails to be destroyed, meaning that a player might not even know that they're controlling a bike while they walk around minding their own business

This was the cause of the velocity update and other past updates. In the Roblox theme park community, coasters would constantly break after updates similarly to this. The bikes were most likely spawned in and the player just left or jumped while it was moving, leaving it to travel really far without anyone nearby.

I actually went through one of the hacks in Robloxity. It had been a fresh server I was joining, and I was just driving around in some ambulance. Suddenly, my game began to lag, and people started saying “OMG WHAT’S HAPPENING” and stuff like that in chat. I drove to the spawn, where objects began to be infected with the rusted material, and things were unanchored. Bridges and buildings fell. This continued for the next few minutes, and then players slowly left the game. After a period of time, I lost connection, and I was convinced the game was haunted. This was when I was younger, and when I finally came back 2 months later, the game had been shut down. I never came back to Robloxity until it was later brought online again, and that was the last time I ever played Robloxity.

I have a story, I was playing the game at 12 pm with my cousin coz we like roleplaying, it was night in game , we were driving a white car close to the hill beacause we were going back to our house, we saw a grey bike in the distance when we tried to get close to it, the bike disappeared, we thought it was a player but he didn't load in and when we get close, he logged off. Next day (irl) we encounter a very similar incident but then the bike was in our house flipping, I've got scared beacause it happend again and I was/am easily scared. I searched it on google beacause I was thinking that maybe it was a glitch, and then I froze, I didn't want to play it anymore. Isn't it odd how both "Obama bike" sightings were from greenlegocats? Isn't it odd how it has such a ridiculous name? The answer to both of these questions is that greenlegocats found out old bike scripts made them move on their own and so he staged 2 fake videos calling it a "dead spirit" and things like that, this is most likely a shitpost to trick people who seriously would believe a dead spirit is possessing a roblox bike because it moves on its own, when there is so much evidence this is staged. 1. greenlegocats ignores the fact that a lot of old vehicle scripts are buggy, so simply jumping off of the bike while holding w would make it move on its own 2. You may say in the 2nd sighting the bike dissapearing behind the bush shows its not staged, but it only vanishes after he zooms in, if he had jumped off of it while it was rolling down it could still register it as "he's still on the bike" so it could count as a "part of the player" so zooming in just like accessories and your avatar, makes it vanish. I am not sure how people believe this obvious shitpost, greenlegocats is a lot smarter than to believe that a roblox bike moving on its own is a dead spirit controlling it, so him having all of this smart insight on things happening in roblox yet he believes that its a dead spirit controlling the bike just would make 0 sense. (I am not making fun of anybody but the few people who believe its some sort of spirit controlling the bike.)

As a roblox builder myself, I know from the game I work on that if this is not from the bug, it's most definitely a dev prank of sorts. For example, there we had a script (not sure if it's still there, it was inserted by a retired dev that never documented its existence to other devs afaik) where upon a server starting, a default grey plastic part would spawn at an entirely random part of the map, just to make people think something was wrong. This, to me, is very similar.

I'm a small game developer that does ro-racing on Roblox and i'll explain my theory as to why some of these happen. To put it simple, there's probably just a bike that they left there on accident somewhere with the acceleration on. The Chassis in Robloxity seems to be quite similar to the classic roblox chassis (Otherwise known by some ro-racers as "Tank-Chassis") Basically, if you go into the driver's seat on a tank chassis vehicle, you can scroll down to custom physical properties and find torque and turning speed inputs, typically when you tune a tank chassis vehicle these are the main things you chance (As well as wheel stats, such as friction, density, etc.) basically, there's a part above the Torque and Steering speed inputs where you have throttle and steering input, typically you would just leave these on 0. However, it seems that while tuning the "Ghost Bicycle" the developer somehow managed to move the throttle above 0, causing it to "Ghost" as can be seen in 1 of the videos. Also, this glitch also occurs with tank chassis vehicles when you jump out of them while input is still in the vehicles themselves, so they can tend to move uncontrollably just as you see on the one video where in rams straight into a wall and flips over. It's quite a funny but rather annoyance occurrence when it happens. Anyways nice video. (Addition) ACTUALLY AFTER REWATCHING THE VIDEO I'D LIKE TO JUST ABOUT DEBUNK IT. So, Ghosting seems to be the main cause for all of the sightings, and they all seem to be fake. Sometimes "Ghost" cars can go for a very long time before stopping, really, it's surprising how far a tank Chassis Car can go. So, I'll explain all of the sightings. -The one where the bike goes down the hill: In this video, you basically explained it for everyone, the bicycle rolls down the hill due to gravity, and the bike itself must not be too dense to not prevent itself from moving further or something like that, I'm not fully sure as i'm only a intermediate tank chassis tuner, not an expert. So, this is clearly a fake. -The one where the first sighting came from: It too was faked, However it was a random occurrence. Personally if I was in such situation I would of been dying of laughter, lol. Basically tank chassis vehicles have a tendency to anomalously move on their own, accelerating at full throttle without any limits in an aimless direction. It's absolutely surprising how far it can go sometimes. Still, a random occurrence but in the end just a glitch. (Add) I am not sure how EXACTLY a ghost car works with Tank Chassis, however it is a very common occurrence. -The one where the vehicle was taking turns. Honestly, this one is far more difficult for me to figure out, as this is not normal tank chassis behavior. The bicycle itself was moving faster than it's normal top speed, which I suspect at such speeds it should be nearly uncontrollable unless the tune dictates otherwise. I do suspect that this was likely a hacker, due to the intelligence in taking a (reasonably) proper racing line, which makes me suspect that this was some roblox racer that decided to have a little fun with exploiting, a somewhat common occurrence tbh, my best bet as of now is somebody named TheCushionRacer, or V_lvetrain, two roblox racers that have occasionally taken a bit of fun in some things such as what was seen in the video. I doubt it's either of them, but the two are known for dabbing a bit of fun from time to time. Clearly however this video is the most mysterious in my opinion, as driving such a vehicle at such precision at such speeds is a clear sign that the individual is experienced in driving, more likely even Tank Chassis racing, so, give it a look maybe, lol. I personally think i'd consider this a debunked but unsolved mystery with this, as there still is no explanation to who, or how, but surely somebody with knowledge on exploiting could know how. Obviously they are using a script that retunes vehicles, something both of them have used previously out of racing (reportedly...) But it has been spread to several other entities. Overall I find this interesting.

Well first of all, I’m friends with greenlegocats aka cowcowmanmanthingit. When I used to hunt for this obama bike, I really didn’t know why it was named Obama bike, but I remember going to a house (that one farm house near blox mart) and we say the bike. We admediately followed it. Then we say a person appear and and jumped out of the bike, not a ghost. Forgot the username something adine, he just told us about I’m controlling it. Then one of the hunter for the bike ask the question. Why is it called Obama bike? Now at this point I thought that he’s gonna say now now guys Obama funny, but no. He just said that a boy named Obama fell in a lake on his bike, now when I heared this guy say that first word I was like, oki need to hear more, he went on saying it was a frozen lake so he froze, about 8 hours later, I’m in a diffrent server. Something happend tho, people were searching for this bike, but also a bus storm. Now this is not just a storm, it’s a storm that is made out of buses spinning around. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen the storm but the fact that I saw people doing the Obama bike thing and the bus was crazy, I’d check the players list, the adine dude is no we’re to be found so idk is it a fake? I have a few ideas 1: Either the Obama bike is a glitched model / script that 1dev3 made but roblox updates broke 2: that 1dev3 intentionally created a script and used animations placed around the city for possible routes the bike could take which results in sightings for the bike, basically planned.
