Aneas later would fulfill the prophecy Achilles mentioned. Aneas would become the leader of the Trojan survivors after Priam’s death and would go on to escape and found Rome. Rome would later conquer Greece and in doing so get revenge for their Trojan ancestors.

There was a shrine dedicated to him there until some idiots went and built a lighthouse on top of it in the 1800s.
