The more I listen to the videos it makes me wanna just scream and cry out loud of hurt of being the fool for so many years and waiting for things to change to get better and return to the man I fell in love with ..Hell I'm not perfect and at times wrong as well the thing is I'm willing to do what it takes to be better ..And that is the silent killer of it all of still wanting the love approval and affection. From a man who really don't care

What am I going to do about it? I'm going to live a life of gratitude every moment everyday. I'm going to appreciate that I am enough and that I need no other to be alive. I'm going to pursue the desires of my heart and spread goodness of self love and warnings of your kind at every opoortunity. Thats what I'm going to do.

Just as we teach our children stranger danger and that the stranger will not look like a monster, but rather, they will look like Mummy and Daddy, or a friend, we also need to teach ourselves.

Thank you for sharing this H.G., I really found this to be clear description of the interchangeable masks, and how my x portrayed his interests to be same as mine. I noticed the inconsistency when he fell asleep during the New York City production of the musical Wicked I purchased tickets for. After ensuring me he enjoys the arts. $400. 00 out the window, and something I kept in my memory banks. Funny, that is the night he put us on his profile picture while I was driving. He looked at me and said "its official". I didn't know how to feel, it was like his decision then and there. Was that a control maneuver?

l felt great today calm, confident. all it took was my nerotic super narc husband to came home for half an hour, l began to feel crazy, low energy, my brain was foggy, couldn't remember what l was doing. felt imberissed, confused for no reason, realized l was feeling how he feels inside his brain. wow what a crazy place, make's no sense there. he probably picked me for my peace of mind, to aliviate his mental torcher whitch is his sickness. wants to give me part of his unbearable pain, so he doesn't have to take responsability for his feelings or actions. the pain he feels or is gonna inflict on others.

Feeling Sexy : yours is a very interesting comment. I too think we can suddenly feel exactly as they do, and not just when they are in the vicinity. For me it is like my ex narc boyfriend sends an exact duplicate to drape over me, and I begin to experience his mood, his breathing, his anger. I've tried to tell people this but it doesn't go down well, they have no idea. I totally agree with you.

Yep... Not too long before leaving him I remember as I was driving home from work, I considered driving straight towards the tree up ahead. It was the thought of my children and what my death would do to them that stopped me. I continued to at least contemplate it many times thereafter. Suicidal thoughts would come in without warning, nor permission. I'm sure he would be absolutely thrilled to know that he drove me to the edge.

I don't offer fuel to the Narc.. I ignore him, but he keeps coming back..what's to say why he keeps coming back. I know he has another fuel source because I stopped giving in to all forms. After finding that talking to him to try to resolve anything is like beating my head against a brick wall. A constant loop is what I call it. It made me wanna slap the sh@@ out of him but that's what he would like an emotional response...He is what I call a Victim Narc .poor little guy...

Hello HG, thank you that was great. You pose the question ‘what are you going to do about it?’ Well, what can one do? Learn more and spread the word I guess..but for all of the reasons you describe the odds are overwhelmingly stacked in favor of the narcissist. Do you have any suggestions? Put information up on billboards maybe?! I’d be most interested..

hi angie coffey, i do what i can to spread the word on narcissists. there were many people i talked to who had bad relationships and things happen at work with narcissists. some actually were glad to put a name on these people. some can not relate to personality disorders, but gave me a good listen because what they went through was just insanity. i, also, found a video on the 5 core emotional needs of children. i copied the 5 needs and have handed them out to grandparents and people with young children that i know. i didn't mention narcissism. these people were interested in raising their much loved child correctly. that went well. i even handed one to my narc ex's son who has 2 babies. talked to the son about not doing what his dad did to him for punishment. he agreed with me. he knows his dad has issues.

Make sure that as your children are growing up they read one of HG's books or Psychopath Free or Women Who Love Psychopaths. My youngest niece was the one who turned me onto Narcs and cluster B when she left out a copy of the Sociopath Next Door. Or sit down and watch Dr. Foster, playing on Player One (I think), if your children are not avid readers, then you and your children can discuss what is gong on there. It is going to take a long time for the public schools to teach this, so start with your own kids in your own home.

Angie Coffey its stacked AGAINST the narc, not in their favor...one thing u can do is change ur defeatest attitude about narcs. that is a narc illusion...that the odds are in their favor. ever been to vegas? WE, the light beings, are the House. and the House always wins in the end. always. we have eternal and immortal light in us and they have corruptible mortality, which eventually meets its match, decompensates, and perishez...then is thrown alive into the eternal fire. sad.

@secureconnection5245
@secureconnection5245 8 жыл бұрын
Narcissism is anxiety driven. Meditation is great for easing off anxiety, it's actually proven to alter chemistry of the brain and help fix different psychological disorders. I sat down with a narcissist aquaintance of mine to meditate and he couldn't finish sitting still even for 20 minutes. The 'monkey mind' is at the center of narcissistic behavior. Those who are in control of themselves won't need to control others.

why just not add new content on your personality instead of stealing it from people? H.G ? theres many books, shows ect. You could have fuel forever, if you kept one prime resource and put effort into them. I was told it is an inner emptiness. if that is true, why not fuel yourself? find an alternative fuel other than appliances or resources...?
@brrjohnson8131
@brrjohnson8131 8 жыл бұрын
Manda Panda, it's not the same, they can't replicate fule by themselves; they strive to create a reaction by controling someone else's emotions. Your reaction is the fule, their "ability to control you" is how its made. Like a magician creates an effective illusion, they 'create your reaction', the more intense the better. I may be wrong, but each time becomes a little less effective, so eventually they'll need a new source. I think they know they'll eventually burn up their current source so a backup will need to be secured & kept nearby. Alternative fule sources are mandatory.

+TheHotCoffeeHouse, iirc the narcissist needs constant gratification & attention to feed the insecurities of their false persona. It's a constant need, so if one source isn't satisfying that need they will quickly adjust their focus to get what is required for their insatiable ego. This refocusing eliminates people that are not putting out high quality fule. They're like junkies & their false self requires constant gratification. A sociopath doesn't need the adulation & adoring fans that the Narcissist will collect around themselves to feed upon. The sociopath has trouble controlling their impulses. They hunger for power & their violent tendencies often land their asses in jail. They both share the fantastic illusion of their superiority. Sadly they're both incapable of empathy. Although it can be hiden by distraction, until they tire & are ready to discard you. Burning all evidence behind themselves.
