You consider 3-way submission dilemmas from deep half guard to be basic? If this is basic, what's fancy to you?

@@biscobisco1882first of all that’s close guard, every blue belt has to know the 3 attack circle arm bar to omoplata to triangle, this is basically the same with a roll back

It's closed guard until you open it and underhook the leg, then it's pretty far from being closed guard and is no longer a basic position to work from at all. Also, this is the three attack circle you describe BUT from an open guard/underhook position that you have to get PLUS the possibility of using a knee shield to create the dilemmas PLUS the backwards rolling sleeve grip sweep. You could reduce ANY jiu-jitsu technique to 'basic' stuff if that's your approach - what do you consider NON-BASIC? Lastly, if you're saying it's blue-belt knowledge, it's by definition not 'basic'.@@royoroz
