One thing I love about Untamed is that it portrays love in so many different ways. Wen Ning was one of the purest and most good hearted characters from this show, and he lost everything while also being hated by everyone. This song really captures the innocence of a character who has been through so many hardships but stayed loyal to himself and never failed to see good in others. I love his relationship and undying loyalty to Wei Wuxian, but also loved that they showed his identity as an individual being and not just WWX’s “mascot”. Anyways this MV made me very emotional if u couldn’t tell 😂 I just love my babies and don’t want them to suffer anymore 😞💔

I bawled here. I thought Wei Neng suffered so much but they didn’t really touch on his character too much in the drama. But watching this and reading the lyrics made me realize how much he lost... And even though he did, he’s willing to protect Wei Ying till the end because Wei Ying saved him and gave him a second chance. It’s so beautiful I can’t stop bawling my eyes out!! My BF’s giving me weird looks guys I can’t stop the tears! The part that really shakes me is the chorus and him still having a child-like heart and wanting to protect his loved one(s) forever even though he’s covered in scars. Ugh!!!!

Wei Wuxian's life became miserable when he chose to defend the Wen clan remnants, but he wouldn't budge in his protection of them, no matter how much pain he was in from missing his former life and family.
