In the novel, I was hoping for them to reconcile lol. Although when we think about it Jiang Cheng killed demonic cultivators suspected to be his brother but when he captured Wei ying he didn't kill him. It didn't happened in the novel. Wwx describes it as Lan Zhan's usual pristine white robes are dirtied with blood with red and black marks all over after the fight and I don't see it said becomes red and blood soaked. It happened in the donghua though.
