I'm almost scared 😱 to send any 1988 Fleer cards. I believe they are clean enough to go for 9s and 10s but I only need 5 more 10s for the registry.

You have to wonder if psa is not watching these and say let’s take a look at this grader..and not to say the grades deserve anything but the fair grade. Graders should face audits if I were psa I certainly would be auditing my graders because I want consistency but I also want consumer confidence that their bottom line is being look at versus just the company’s bottom line. I’ll keep saying this until the cows come home you can’t grade a 1950s,60s,70s,80,90s cards at the same standard. The card stock is all different ink and production is all different you should be grading these cards accordingly to the way they were produced and if that means no 10s well no 10s but grading multiple era cads to ultra modern standards is completely nonsense and it’s quite obvious this is happening..again graders should face auditing and this doesn’t need to be throw me under the bus style audits it’s more hey let’s get it right we need to grade these accordingly to it’s era of production versus saying ok we’re grading all these cards according to today’s manufacturing production..just my two cents. Hope psa takes a strong look at this and address this issue that’s long overdue.

I'd resub the whole order. PSA has seems to have a few absolutely trash graders that have no idea what they are doing. I'm confident you will get much better grades and likely Gem most of those hot numbers. Good luck

@bigtubb I agree it shouldn't be a thing. However I've submitted thousands of cards and trust my own judgement and when I see grades I don't agree with in cards that are worth resubmitting then I don't hesitate to crack and resubmit. PSA is a big company and it's very difficult to not have inefficiencies in the process. I've come to accept that and I do what I have to do to get the grades I think the cards deserve

Man, I understand that it’s the graders “opinion” but this is just bad business. You figure they would do a secondary QC and review and take a second look at maybe 5% of an order? Spending $900 bucks on grading to get this back? SGC all day.
