@@VictorJones-b9s Some people can't tolerate an open conversation and they abhor being proven wrong, to avoid this they erect barriers and inject conditions into the discussion that makes it impossible to disagree with them IF YOU ALLOW IT. You are one of those people. By what authority do you force your views on others as if they are unassailable truths? How can you pretend to know the human heart? How can you construct moral traps of resentment and hatred and attempt to block or delegitimize matters of affection, unity, reconciliation and fate? History is replete with story's of deep connections between captor and captive (beyond the well-known "Stockholm syndrome"), free and bond and, yes, slave and master. Your junior high-school level psychology and ego driven misunderstanding of human nature would seem like madness to a warrior-slave like the Spartan Helots or a captive of a Cherokee raiding-party who has earned their place in the tribe and to whom nothing is forbidden including marriage, autonomy, and rank all the way up to Chief or Medicine Chief. There have been times in human history when the only way a man or woman would ever interact with a "stranger" or foreigner was for one of them to be a slave and the possibilities inherent in that arrangement are limitless, sometimes allowing outsiders to rise socially and economically and to attain positions difficult for even citizens to earn. Your pompous, "ALL CAPS" pronouncements are shallow and meaningless and your understanding of documented social arrangements and human behavior appalling. Judging the ancient world and it's people's by today's narrow, politically driven standards is a fools errand and one that denies the wisdom of practically all of the worlds religions and philosophies which unanimously proclaim: "Love thine enemies!"

I’m a 55 year old white southern male. In my predominantly all white high school our history teacher stood in front of the class and told us slave owners did not abuse their slaves. She told us they simply cost to much. I remember at 13 thinking just the fact of being owned had to be horrible beyond belief. I don’t know if she told every class that shit but it stuck with me even since. I remember not understanding why white people held do much anger towards black people. Even as a kid I could understand why a black person might fell some sort of way about a white person but vice versa I just couldn’t understand. I grew up in the south surrounded by people that looked like me but they had a hatred for a whole group of people who did absolutely nothing to them. I have grown old with few friends and I have come to realize racism hurts everyone even the racist themselves. I sure would like to live long enough to see white people let go of the hate but unfortunately I don’t think it will end anytime soon.

Yep. Its weird. I spent part of my childhood in the south. Our religion was the only integrated congregations in Union parish Louisiana. Black folk and white together. All other religions there were segregated. Neither would allow the other to worship w them. When my school friends saw me playing w my friends from our congregation when we had a cookout at our house, they turned around and went home. On the school bus that next Monday they called me a bunch of nasty names, said I was a traitor to my race and couldn't be my friend. Later they shot my dog when he wondered off the property. Before then they treated my dog good when it wondered over there. Racism is evil and stupid, no matter who or what color the racist is or why they are racist. There is only one race. It comes in a variety of beautiful colors. But all the different colors can be quit ugly inside.

Black women are responsible for the most violent group in America! Always looking outwards blaming the white man while your community is so violent! Same in UK now! Majority of violence from the black community, Rwanda and the Congo was all black genocides! Seems like black people aren't in a place to judge! Especially black American women as they're completely responsible for raising such violent kids as the fathers weren't there! Over 70% are single mother homes! Maybe look in the mirror for once! After all the only societies that are free, diverse and successful are white countries! Go try be gay or a different religion in most of Africa! Such nice people who do no wrong! But there are also indentured slaves in other countries where their rent for their huts is more than what they can make so their children will have to carry the burden of the debt for the length of their lives, a continuing unbroken cycle. Check out Voice of the Martyrs to see what some of them have to endure.

@@waynemyers2469 It’s basic logic to understand that it’s man’s nature to push against the boundaries of past achievements unless society has place enough sanctions on breaking those boundaries that it makes it none viable. To believe barriers of inhumanity cannot be included would be naive at best give we have seen in plain sight that when people have been given an opportunity to turn the dial up on brutality it’s more often than not been taken. Worst still we have seen institutions built around wanton brutality and slavery. The vast majority of the time there has been no or very little sanction taken against the perpetrators except desisting the brutality. The desire to continue is motivated by the belief that the vast majority would act in the same way if given enough power. This is the final act of an evil minority that were never punished, they would be free to continue to spill their poison into the minds of the majority without sanction.

The Clinton Foundation's questionable money dealings have raised eyebrows for years. Now, a letter circulating in Congress alleges that the Clinton family's supposed do-gooder foundation is in fact a "lawless, 'pay-to-play' enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years." Those are pretty tough words for a former president and his wife, who happens to be the leading candidate to be our next president. But the congressional letter, which the Daily Caller News Foundation got its hands on, was written by Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who plans on asking the FBI, IRS and Federal Trade Commission to launch a "public corruption" investigation. Is it warranted, or just politics? It sure looks like the former. As Blackburn's letter says, there is a "pattern of dealing that personally enriched the Clintons at the expense of American foreign policy." Blackburn cites the for-profit education business Laureate Education, which paid Bill Clinton some $16.5 million to serve part-time as "honorary chancellor" starting in 2010, a year after Hillary became secretary of state. Laureate, for its part, gave the Clinton Foundation some $1 million to $5 million. Nothing illegal about that, per se. However, the Daily Tennesseean reports that Blackburn's letter also details how "the International Youth Fund, whose board members include Laureate's founder, Douglas Baker, received more than $55 million in grants from the U.S. Agency for International Development while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state." AID is a part of the State Department. Then there's Uranium One. Hillary Clinton, the Daily Tennesseean notes, "was one of several Obama administration officials who approved the sale of uranium to the Russian-operated company, whose chairman also has donated $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation." A number of other people involved in the deal also gave money to the Clintons. "The appearance of 'pay-to-play' transactions involving Laureate and Uranium One also raises serious allegations of criminal conduct requiring further examination," Blackburn's letter says. That's not all of the questionable activities. As we noted back in May, the Clinton Foundation took in some $100 million in donations from a variety of Gulf sheikhs and billionaires who no doubt expected to reap political benefits from a future Hillary Clinton presidency, with Bill serving not just as first gentleman in the White House but also possibly as bagman. Among donors dumping bags of cash on the Clintons include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Lost in the shuffle is Bill Clinton's special "business partnership" from 2003 to 2008 with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the strongman ruler of Dubai. That deal netted Clinton some $15 million in "guaranteed payments," tax records show. And then there's the $30 million delivered to the Clintons by two Mideast foundations and four billionaire Saudis. For the betterment of humankind, no doubt. As national security analyst and writer Patrick Poole said in May, "These regimes are buying access. ... There are massive conflicts of interest. It's beyond comprehension." It took Wall Street financial analyst and investment advisor Charles Ortel -- whom the Sunday Times of London once described as "one of the finest analysts of financial statements on the planet" -- to untangle the mess in a series of ongoing reports. Ortel alleges that contribution disclosures by the foundation often don't fit with what donors' own records say -- big red flag. "This," Ortel summed up, "is a charity fraud."

Every time black people built something good, white people came and destroyed it or stole it. Research black lake towns if you dare. Did you know that black people were not allowed to homestead? They let immigrants come and settle millions of acres of land for free. That free land created generational wealth. Gave them farm equipment and started schools for them to learn farming. Did you know that black men coming home from WW2 were denied the GI Bill? That was more free homes and property, creating more generational wealth. Slavery is still happening around the world. Human trafficking involves mostly women and children, mostly in the s*x industry. But there are also indentured slaves in middle eastern countries that work all day every day to pay for their huts rent. Unfortunately for them, the price of the hut is higher than their wages so their children are caught up in the cycle of poverty. There are other instances that aren't well known, but one I know of is children being used in the fishing trades to help catch fish to sell, while they subsist on little or nothing to eat.

It’s probably no consolation but, this white British woman does respect people of other races. I have work colleagues and friends from a variety of places and backgrounds and I treat them all equally. I try to judge everyone on their competence and ease to work with. Some of us are making the effort to put history behind us and treat others equally. Or slightly more, since if my devout Muslim colleague wants to disappear into a corner somewhere for a couple minutes to do one of his five-daily prayers I deliberately give him the privacy and time he needs to complete them. It’s not really intrusive on the workday really-he’s quick and quiet about it. But yeah some of us try.

I often hear that this info isnt being taught in schools but IT IS taught in schools on the college/ university level. This truthful data is part of the basis of critical race theory. This info is material in college level African American history courses. The reason it isnt taught in elementary school or high school in depth is because it isnt age appropriate and children dont know enough context about the topics to fully grasp all aspects of it yet. Of course our ancestors didnt have that option, they had to live through it but I guarantee they wouldnt have wanted their young children to see or hear about any of this. How do I know? I hold a bachelors degree in African studies. The title here is somewhat click bait. Its not like this information is some big secret. Americas atrocities toward black people are well documented in thousands of BOOKS on these topics. If it was "untold" the person narrating about it wouldnt know about enough info to make a youtube video. These history videos are a good start but its IMPERATIVE that OUR people seek this knowledge by READING about it and becoming truly educated about it.

We as a race stay stagnant and looked at as less than human by other races for several reasons but in my opinion these are the top reasons.... We have to stop fighting 1 another as its merely entertainment for everyone else. We can only give genuine love and selflessly show empathy and compassion when on a higher financial level than others. 2 we generally tend to hold onto the anger of our ancestors instead of using that energy to honor their sacrifice by changing our future. Generational wealth is not in how much you have or how many people you have following you but by what knowledge we can give our offspring so that we can either pass in something useful to them like how to grow and tend to a garden so that they never go hungry. 2. WE ALL have to stop judging everyone else no matter what their FINANCIAL status may be, their sexual orientation, religion or personal values. I.E if your neighbor is African American and his wife is caucasian then most women would say : oh hell no he needs to be with a Black Queen not a snow bunny... why is that okay? A caucasian male w/ an African American woman often hears from men of the same race Opie can't handle all that ma you should be with a real man . We oppress and judge our own people so much that we stay in a lower mind set and don't feel that we can show love to others while being confident, secure, powerful and comfortable enough to be relevant. I want us ALL to work on ways to uplift one another , teach each other, love or at least be cordial to each other while helping each other heal by freeing ourselves of the weight that is hate , poverty self imprisonment and our judgemental ways. We don't have to forget OUR HISTORY in order to free ourselves of the weighted hatred that drains us. OUR ancestors wore actual crowns upon knowledge filled heads , exuded actual confidence not fear stained copied behavior of people who are on TV, honor them all by dissolving HATE . Our ancestors once had genuine love in their souls and kept smiles upon their illuminated faces. WHY can't we lead by example once again?

I agree with some of what you say. The Bible however has a lot to say about sexual orientation and religious beliefs. It isn't just a Book of does and don'ts for no reason. YAHWEH saw the mess sin and the Devil would bring on humanity and gave instructions on how to be an overcome. He never promised we wouldn't have battles to fight. Battles from within and without. We inherited a sin nature from our father Adam. YAHWEH wants to become our adopted Father to help us overcome the sin of our fore fathers.

I read a story that was a true account of a young white son of a plantation owner fell in love with one of the slave girls and his sister had them both killed. How horrible and I believe it because this is exactly how White women behave
@dustybrand
@dustybrand 9 ай бұрын
Worst thing I've ever known of, I've never told it until now: About 23 years ago, before my sister died tragically, she helped take care of an 8-year-old black girl who spent 8 months in surgical recovery. She was born addicted to crack and the year before her mother relapsed but dropped off the little girl to live with an uncle. The uncle, several male relatives and their male friends then had the girl for several months and you can guess what happened. She entered the hospital with a prolapsed uterus and rectum. She had rope burns on her arms and legs. The hospital worked hard to keep her alive at first and then to make her whole again. Long story short-hysterectomy and colostomy bag. My sister used to clock out at the end of her shift and hold her and rock her back and forth for hours and sing to her. There was a trial, they tried to blame it on white people, the judge humored them and listened to their lies. In the end they had hardly any convictions after the trial was made into a joke. I sat in my sister's kitchen and drank coffee with her and held her hand as she sobbed and said there was no justice in the world. That child, if she is alive would be 31 now and I pray that her life has been filled with only good things and love. I hope that her mother recovered and is better now and that the two of them love each other and have peace. My sister is in Heaven and I know they will see her one day.

Evilness and wickedness unleashed to no measure the amount of the most extreme cruelty and ruthlessness unleashed, is unimaginable, how these psycopaths could get away with having no inkling of how despicable they themselves were. These people were Satan's unleashed demons fullfold. The descendants have to be corrected beforehand, so there is no more regression to this extremely depraved and extremely, hellish Era.

Its annoying when they make it seem that enforcing slavery was a purely a male-related phenomenon. especially in hollywood adaptions of movies related to this heinous era. females were just as guilty. It’s people like you that need to have their head examined you want to make all white people guilty when literally it was only 1% and literally tens of thousands of slaves were owned by black families. I’ll come back it’s lost in the fray. Or the first slaveowner in America was indeed a black man. Very easily found, so make people today who never was involved in slavery didn’t even live in. This country came over during World War I or World War II as most of white people in this country had nothing to do with slavery. Their ancestors had nothing to do with slavery yet we looked at like we owned slaves. It’s ridiculous the race schism towards white people. Even crazier when you realize that the biggest slavers were Arabs, and somehow they fly under the radar.

what about all the blacks that got rich from slavery? the Ashanti tribe of modern day Ghana, or the Dohemi tribe that fought a war against Britain because they wanted to keep selling slaves. Does the 600,000 men that fought and died to end slavery in America not count? how about the 50+ year war Britain fought to end 1200 years of African slavery at the hands of the middle eastern islamic empire?

God deals with everyone as individuals, not as a member of a certain race. It’s the individual human being that decides to be cruel and is accountable for his or her actions before God. We will all stand before God someday and give account for our actions, and on that day He will not be looking at our skin color.

How do you think light skinned black people we're created 🤔? But when I've said this, everybody got mad at me. In the black community, men often seek out and marry light skinned women and abuse the dark skinned ones. I'm dark skinned. As a child it was always clear to me who black people deemed attractive. 😔 Slavery messed our people up bad and it's still prevalent til this day.

It’s too late to pray for those people because they’re dead. It might be more helpful to pray for the people who are victims of human trafficking as we speak; due to the terrible policies that are enriching the very heinous Mexican cartels who abuse and use people. Maybe call your Congressional leaders and demand Biden & the Dems, who engage in constant race baiting, will put their money where their mouth is and stop the slavery that’s happening NOW!

LOL no one was "kidnapped" they were enslaved and sold by other Africans, like the Ashanti tribe of modern day Ghana that became very wealthy from slavery. The Dohemi tribe fought battles against Britain when the British told them they couldn't be slavers anymore. You must of watched "Roots"- the writer/ director has said he "was creating a a mythology for his people" when confronted with the historical inaccuracies. A European man had a life expectancy of 40 days in Africa (before malaria medicine) due to lack of immunity to tropical disease. Sailors on slave ships had an identical mortality rate as the slaves for the same reasons.
