Wow, amazing result! The story is great and the cinematography and CGI are amazing. So good. Love how you set him up with the picture too. Did you use a story circle structure for this? He is in a situation. He wants something, which is to plant the flag, but really, he wants to finally succeed and impress the other astronauts, and his go, he tries to plant the flag on the moon but fails. He is careless when he is drilling and get thrown into orbit. That is the big catch or pay-off. He then has to find a way back down and he uses his knowledge and gets back down. Now he has changed and believes he can do it, after doubting himself the whole time. Then he finally "wins" at the end when planting "A" flag at the moon. Maybe I am completely wrong in my analysis, but that is how I thought it to be :-) Great comedy short film, especially with all the problems like you losing equipment. Any update on that? DId insurance cover some of it?

You're spot on :-) It's actually a very simple story and I tried to work with elements of surprise to keep it exciting. I learned a lot from the many shorts I made over the years and I feel confident that this is one of the better stories I've written so far. I learned that you should not try to make things complicated :-)

nice short, just a thought but maybe you could have simulated a lower gravity by suspending yourself on some rubber bands or by hanging sorta sideways on a rope and walking on a slope so that when you jump you swing away a bit, though that would have been difficult to combine with the sand
