I was out of the Kpop world for a few years and coming back and find out about 2ne1 disbanding and Bom scandal was not something I was ready. The way it was handled, the way it was presented to the public was extremely unprofessional from the point of someone who took journalism for 4 years. Lack of research, putting labels immediately... YG's position in the whole situation, I am not sure how to comment it. Bom needed time off, everyone in a similar place needs, at the same time, however, this person needs a lot of support. I think that CL, Dara and Minzy were there for Bom, as well as other labelmates. But YG himself didn't clarify the condition she was facing, leaving it ambiguous and easy to be interpreted in any way you like it. It is widely known that South Korea doesn't treat mental illnesses well. People are prejudiced about it. And, at the same time we view how some people fake and/or romanticize these illnesses, making it worse for people who actually have these conditions. I do not think that YG decided to replace 2ne1 with Blackpink, rather he was bringing them to debut during their seniors hiatus so we could focus on BP, and at the same time 2ne1 members could take some time off. And then Minzy chose to leave YG, which led to knetizens blaming both Bom and Minzy for the disbandment. And imagine having dirt being thrown at you for the past few years for something that you did not do, explaining to people but them not listening, tearing every part of you every day, even being outcasted... But during those dark days, there were still people who choose to believe her innocence, who offered her a hand. You are absolutely right. Those days were Bom's winter. It often believed that our 20s are the spring of our life, but Park Bom lives up to her name and showed us that you can make every time of your life into a spring.

there seriously needs to be better awareness and empathy for mental health struggles, especially for disorders like adhd. theres nothing wrong with having adhd! theres nothing wrong with seeking treatment for it! i am so mad people with adhd, especially women with adhd, are treated this harshly. its a difficult disorder to live with, on top of people being ableist towards you....i cant imagine what this woman went through. i hope shes doing ok now

KPOP BIBLE I mainly want to hear someone else’s perspective on the whole Jessica and Taeyeon relationship. There’s just too many coincidences. I don’t think TaeNy is real except being friends, I just don’t get those vibes. On the radio, Jessica confessed that her first love gave her a cactus, Taeyeon also said she gifted a cactus to a girl she liked. Taeyeon has also said that she sung a song for a girl she liked. Taeyeon and Jessica are just too mysterious, if you know what I mean! Even the way they treated each other! They were inseparable in the beginning and then suddenly there was a gap. But Jessica always treated Taeyeon differently from the rest of the members, and Taeyeon was always secretly glancing at Jessica. It’s just intriguing!

I have a feeling that park bom was probably among the kpop female artists who was being circulated to ceos and big name producers by YG. I just have a feeling. You can see in her current performances how she wants to tell her story so much. And how much the other members try really hard to protect her privacy. Not to mention how long she has been in the industry and only debuted with 2ne1 after so many years. My heart goes out to her so much! 💕💕💕 I think CL had to take the L so many times, behind closed doors, for her team too. I think that’s why she is also coming out with so many songs that hint at the story they want to tell. But I think they’re all bound by NDA’s. I hate how they got did wrong.
