Nadia died in 2000, and when i was just 14 months old. I still listen to her music. What a great singer and pride of Pakistan she was, but it saddened me how her last days were. May Allah grant her highest place in Jannah.

Nazia and I are about the same age though she was slightly older than me. And here is a very personal experience, which I doubt many here had that experience. At 16:32 , the video starts talking about the Sohail Rana show in 1975, where Nazia's exposure to on-stage music began. The show was quite popular and located in Karachi. One day my dad called the Studio and asked if he could bring his kids to the show as part of the choir. Sohail Rana must have agreed with a condition: The kids would have to do some 'audition'. So dad took us to the studio--we three brothers from 8-11 years and a sister 12 year old and a cousin who was 10. Sohail's 'audition' was something like 'Say AAAAAA BAAAAA' and we did and we passed! So we sang surrounded by lots of other kids, including Nazia and Zohaib!! They were already recognizable as they were already mini-celebrities. We watched the recording on TV and gleefully recognized each other in the audience, singing. What great memories and what a great artist Nazia was as well as a decent human being! Thank you for this video!!

Cannot forget when I met Mr and Mrs basir alongside with their son zohaib with her mother lying on a bed in an Karachi hospital E-R in 2018-2019. The Family is still devastated by her loss. Uncle basir Hassan blamed Bad marriage for her demise , It was an irony that her ex husband was also my patient during that time when I was in charge of the CCU @ That hospital. 🥺

Love from whole India to her. She was she is the queen of hearts. I saw her interview by Tabassum ji and instantly fall for her. Still have a massive crush on her. Paxtan raised a gem. The only person who gave competition and good songs was Alisha Chinoy from India. Both singers were built by Biddu. In music industry both were equally competitive. But Nazia ji won, because no one can win against her image of pan earth crush. She was cute, sweet, innocent, charming girl. Alisha ji failed to build that image. There are only 3 ladies for which my heart beats Nazia ji, Minakshi Sheshadri ji and my Wife.

The information is not right. Number one Biddu was already famous in the whole world with his hit songs Kung Fu Fighting and Dance little lady Dance before Aap Jaisa Koi. Aap Jaisa Koi became an introduction of him in South Asia. Second Biddu visited Nazia's home for audition. There was no crowd of people, and he selected Nazia instantly when she sang Dance little dance verse. Nazia went for recording with Zoheb after her school, Nazia mom didn't accompany her during recording. There are a lot of things which never happened. The research work is more like fiction work.
