I also believe Paul wanted to reach the resurrected level while alive but couldn't...able to fully sustain his mortal body and transport it any where he wanted..like His Master did. I believe the Lord wants us to reach this level on Earth...not physically dying before attaining it.

Originally God created the soul and the body for the spirit [man's spirit]. All the soul and the body needs are in the spirit...and the spirit has the right to take the body anywhere she wanted. Jesus demonstrated this in the temple when the angry Jews wanted to kill him..he passed through them. He also demonstrated fully this after the resurrection..he can make the body visible or invisible anytime. In conclusion God created the human body for the spirit not the other way around.
