Food Network has always been pretty popular, but it has seen a particular upswing in interest over the past couple of years. It ended 2021 as one of the most popular cable networks in the U.S., and it's had some huge hits hit the airwaves.
One of those hits is the weekend morning show "The Kitchen," which showcases a group of famous chefs as they cook up recipes, offer up cooking tips, and swap stories. My thoughts are way too many long long long commercials. The kitchen show makes me nervous with everyone talking so loudly and talking over each other or all at once. Otherwise entertaining and educational.

I love the Kitchen now. I started watching during the pandemic and their home shows were great! I'm glad they are all back together again. I look forward to watching it every Saturday morning. Don't change it Food Network! It's one of the few cooking shows and not a competition show , which I can't stand.

I don't mind the competitive shows as much as I do the chefs who travel and critique other peoples food. The one show is DDD. Guy is on every Friday for 16 hrs. then Saturday for 10 hrs. Give some new chef a chance.

I'm very picky about my Food Network shows as well as KZbin cooking videos but I have to say The Kitchen has really grown on me. Sonny is definitely annoyingly loud & too boisterous (for my taste) but that's just who she is. I LOVE the addition of Alex. Anyway...I like it.

What is up with the Kitchen? Another repeat, they showed this one two weeks ago. The one with the grilled cheese & tomato soup. Anybody who can't make grilled cheese has a problem! Is this season over or was the show canceled? This show is usually on Sundays & Mondays. I don't watch this show often but when I do I would like to see something new!!

Too much yelling on this show. Do they think it makes it more exciting? It doesn't - it's annoying as hell. Also, grabbing at food like you are starving, trying to be first to eat or get the biggest piece is really unattractive. Getting tired of it all.

Her yelling is far more annoying than Jeff's, and her grabbing at the food, shoving it in her mouth, and lip smacking is so piggish. Eat before you get to work, girl, tone it way down, and show some manners. PLEASE!

Never been a fan. I don't watch any Food Network anymore except I catch Pioneer Woman sometimes. I like the shows on Saturday (in my area) on PBS. Americas Test Kitchen, Milk Street, Lidia and some others over the years. Most of them are archived and available.

I miss Marcela, she was a great addition, I also loved her former program “Mexican Made Easy” and wish they’d give her another one featuring Mexican cuisine. Nothing but love for The Kitchen.

AG’s restaurant, BUTTER, is truly one of my favorites in NYC. GZ’s restaurant is another good one but his small plates and cocktails are better than the main menu.

I love the kitchen!! I look forward to it every weekend! I will say I adore the hosts and Katie was my favorite but lately I cannot stand her. Sunny, Jeff and GZ get on so well and Katie acts as though she’s annoyed at Jeff. She acts like she’s entitled. But I will say the other 3 original hosts are fantastic. You really can feel the love they have for each other! I love that they brought in Alex, I never really thought much about her but she has definitely won me over!! I hope they start doing more of the “try/deny” and the little competitions they do, those are so fun to watch!! I also think they should replace Katie with Carla Hall!!

Took a huge break from Pioneer Woman when she had the kids filming her show. Her flirting with her s-i-l. Iwas nauseating. Also she kept trying to be their age. When she showed us how high she could kick her leg, was the, “Jump the Shark” moment. I came back when she became an empty nester.

Food Network has become a channel of fake competition cooking shows. I currently watch The Food Network Go app, The Cooking Channel app, and KZbin. The only cooking show that is not a competition cooking show that I actually watch now is Delicious Miss Brown which is new to the channel and brings fresh homemade home chef cooking skills.

I wish Marcela would come back. Honestly I don't really care for Alex. Her food it too complicated...most Americans don't eat French Style...most people are simple, regular cooks that need easy meals that aren't complicated and don't require exotic ingredients that most of us can't get or afford. Miss the old Gang. Also wish Sunny Anderson's cooking show would be put back on...she is funny and her along with Jeff make the show for me. Jeff and Geoffrey, please say the whole word, i.e. Delish vs Delicious. For people who are trying to learn the English language this is very annoying. Also, it looks like you are trying to look younger than you are….think Dad Dancing. Katie and Marcella cut from the same all about me cloth. An ensemble cast is not for them. Let them have their own shows or the 2 of them together.
