It's so hard to protect young very good looking sons from predators like the officer who first went after 18 year old Hudson ( who loved a girlfriend at the time) when he joined the military. I try my best to protect my own son whom relatives state looks like a young John F Kennedy Jr. Since he was old enough to walk, I have caught intense stares from women and men when in stores, elevators, restaurants or any public place. Many commented that he was georgeous or beautiful, but others just stared in what was not a very wholesome way. As he grew older into his teens our family had a health club membership, so we'd often go together. I was very uncomfortable with the well built men, probably in their 30's-50's who would make a habit of working on machines next to him in order to start a conversation and build a relationship. I didn't want to pry as he was a teen by then, but I did ask, and he mentioned that in so many words he had to tell them, "Thanks, but no thanks." I'm glad he isn't in the military and wasnt forced to acsquisend to something that he had no intention of doing in the first place that would change his life forever.

@christineparis56073 жыл бұрын
@@brucer4170 Carol Baker, Jane Withers, Rod Taylor and Earl Holliman are the only cast members still alive. James Dean would have been in his 90s if he was still alive! Most of the main players died in very old age (except, of course Dean, and Sal Mineo, who was murdered at 37, I think). I worked in Hollywood for a couple of years in the early 90s, and every movie has accidents and deaths, mainly because there are so many people involved that the odds are that some people will have an accident or something, especially when you're dealing with "creative" types that may have a higher chance of dealing with drug and alchohol issues, or risky behavior. Only when the movies are horror themed do you hear a lot about happenings on the sets, like random illnesses and accidents. They happen on every set.

Kinda would be interesting if he hated James Dean because he had slept with Marlon Brando? Kinda funny that basically to be an A-list actor at the time you just had to sleep with the right person, because a lot of the gay actors have a connection with the same person when they started out.

I’m replying to your comment that has been quite rightly deleted by You Tube. Whilst I respect your Christian beliefs, as I do all religions and their respective deities. My faith is rooted in scientific facts and the thought of a some deity or God planting a man and woman in a Garden as the start of humanity is frankly risible, not to mention the fact that their offspring would have to involved in incest in order to procreate. Homosexuality is not the ‘norm’, it is the biological imperative of all living things to reproduce and pass on their DNA. However, Homosexuality is not unnatural, it occurs in many other living creatures, some living creatures can even change sex during their lives. So maybe you would be wise to educate yourself on facts , rather than parochial nonsense from 2000 + years ago
