‘The Unwritten Chapters’ resumes with chapter three, as Iain Macmillan gives us a broader overview of his time on Linch Hill, time shared with many of the sport’s more ‘underground’ and most recognisable names alike.
Tong talks Willow Lake, or ‘Tea and Biscuits’, as it was known to members, and Christchurch Lake, or ‘Lager and Drugs’, a result of some of the shenanigans that used to take place at the time.
Of course, there was also the carp. The Hamster, The Perch Common, The Big Fully, Single Scale, to name but a few.

Had the best times fishing Linch hill back in the mid 90s- early 00's. Great lakes, good fishermen and atmosphere,then the fish😍. Epic times, would love to show some of mine and my brothers fish pics to Nick. Just see if they are still around.

They were halcyon days iain, carnage, great laughs, characters everything and like you I'm still mates with stroud, Greek, big Jay. Can you remember trying to free a young cygnet up in peg 3 I think and the mother was raring up and you had us all in stitches cuz you kept saying watch your eyes she'll go for your eyes lol. Great days when I didn't have a care in the world apart from work and fishing....

Brilliant watch. I was actually ment to fish linch (Christchurch) the day the very 1st lock down was announced. Was gonna do a week on there b4 it went syndicate so I could actually say I'd fished the famous linch Hill Christchurch lake... thanks Boris for ruining that for me!!
