Rytec has been my main sniper. I use rytec suppressor, seven straight barrel, stovl wrap stock, stipples grip tape, and explosive rounds. It does great damage and I’ve gotten kills as far as 515 meters. If you know how to use it, it can be very deadly

I agree, the Rytec is the Rytec, trying to make it play a role like a Kar-98 or HDR is an unfair comparison. I have best luck using it as an ambush weapon, waiting and ready to strike. I run Suppressor, Seven Straight barrel, Thermite, Mastadon, and Variable zoom. And I pair it with a much more maneuverable weapon like MP5 or M13 just in case some Mac-10 boi tries to pull some slick stuff

I've been using the rytec for a while now and found using the variable with the crossthread reticle works great with the fast ads stock. I haven't felt at a disadvantage to other snipers with the firerate allowing you to knock opponents if they miss their shot you aswell as being able to knock them if your first shot breaks armour you can down them before they move. Distance doesn't seem to be a problem either with multiple kills past 600 the bullet velocity takes a bit of getting used to but once you know it you can melt people.

Look the difference, in Battlefield we have to wait months for a DLC,we are full of bug,ttk change none asked, all that the community wanted was an authentic ww2 game and they stopped support at the half of the war... COD gets DLCs every months full of content, if the community ask a new playlist the day after is there and the new cod is gonna release this year...

Clearly a poor difference in priorities. Bad company 2 all the way through the bf3 bf4 it was a nice game. Real nice. But they either hired the wrong people are tried to use the wrong systems because the glitchyness in battlefield is wack I havent been able to play it for years without extreme regret. I'm a cod starter but a total battlefield warrior. For now I'll have to stick with cod. They need to copy paste bf4 and buff it up. New graphics, new weapon construction and some polished animations. The game would be top.

You should give the thermite rounds a chance, it burns armour down till it breaks. And it does a good amount of damage on vehicles + the thermite rounds increases the bullet velocity. It’s a situational weapon, something a bit more tactical.

If you haven't already, I would try running the harbinger barrel and the bipod. It takes so much recoil off this thing so you can get really fast follow up shots. It's the only way I can use it

An interesting little detail about the Rytec for those who are curious, despite having extremely low bullet velocity, it actually has even LESS bullet drop than the HDR, which is probably one of the main reasons why it feels so weird. Basically, unless you're shooting well beyond 300 meters, aim for the top of the head ^^ Also thanks for the shoutout again Westie you really don't need to do that lol...

I think people dont understand the Rytec... Bullet drop is literally like an AX50 or even better... its BULLET SPEED that is very slow. It is a monster of a gun if equipped with full aiming stability. EDIT: Full time Rytec user here, I highly recommend you switch the ADS grip for Aiming stability. Sacrificing ADS allows you to connect more shots when already scoped in... also, really important, sprinting just as the mag goes in the Rytec finishes the reload in HALF the time!

The rytec is my go to sniper, I use mostly the same but the grip I use the one with recoil control makes it so much easier to stay on target plus the ADS speed is still great and if you want even more control I change the suppreser for the brake the recoil control with the brake and tac laser plus the mastadon stock makes the rytec a beast

If u make the aiming stability too low on the rytec, it makes follow up shot a lot harder to land. I tried the mastodon stock, and while it gives u good accuracy and easier follow up shots, I dislike the slow ads time and walking movement speed. I've been using the suppressor, seven straight barrel, tac laser, stovl tac-wrap stock, and fmj. I find the tac-wrap stock and the stippled grip makes the aiming stability way too bad to make follow up shots. I was thinking of using the longer breathe hold over fmj cuz i don't get much use out of it. I was gonna test it out later and see if it makes a difference or not 🤔

To be fair, the Barrett doesn't really fit any of the descriptions that you gave it. Modern anti-materiel rifles are usual used to target light vehicles, as there is no way that a .50 bmg is penetrating any modern tank's armor. The M82 compared to any number of other AM rifles is honestly just at or below par for destructive capability, even compared to other offerings from Barrett. Even if by biggest, you just meant pure size, many other AM rifles are larger than the M82, in barrel length, overall length, and weight.

@@Demios620 They were considered AT rifles in the past. Now they are Anti Materiel, you are correct. The current version we have though is the M107, the newer one. Doesn't matter that it is older though. It should be close to the effectiveness of the HDR.
