Not a zbrush user nor ipads but still fan of yours. But honestly would've prefer a ui refresh and a perpetual licence for zbrush over this.
@feralmodeАй бұрын
i hate to shatter your idyllic dreams but a perpetual licence is never going to happen. time to let go of that fantasy if you want to avoid future heartbreak.

I have never sculpted and used Zbrush as a 3d artist but I can start doing some models during my idle times for fun on my iPad. This seems like a legit creative hobby tool.

Awesome! All I need now is-- MONEY! Speaking of great tech and the Mac ecosystem, Huion is working on a Mac-based touch interface for their flagship display tablet, the 27" Kamvas Pro (touch included). If Apple won't give us the feature, leave it to others! Great to see Paul, btw.

The UI is absolutely crucial when going from desktop to a tablet. Great to hear it from their core developers.

Just wish it had zmodeler for hard surface. Would also love to see this UI refresh on the desktop. Happy to see you back on YT!

Осталось надеяться что они доведут его на iPad на соответствующем уровне, а не кастрат. Ибо тогда смысла переходить на него с Nomad Sculpt не много, ну совместимость со стороннем софтом… на Nomad есть интеграция в Procreate и прочее.

this is the first positive review ive seen on this. Most hate it

That’s probably because zbrush takes time to get used to. A lot of time :) and now users are forced to dump all that. I’m a seasonal sculptor you see… I forget what I’ve learned on zbrush all the time, so I’m happy for new ui that may stick in my head better ❤️ and the feel is superb, haptic feedbacks etc
@feralmodeАй бұрын
really? i've seen tons of positive feedback. you must be in a haters club. i think it's a great step forward. it's not perfect but it seems pretty solid.
@ragibrahman9594Ай бұрын
Also how did you make the intro? Are there any tips to make that or make something similar to that?
@AndreyLebrovАй бұрын
It’s a flat pyro sim, sampled into displacement. Inspired by Simon Holmedals tide, I was curious to recreate it from technical point of view. Though I achieved the look, Simon’s version is more sophisticated with more complex COPs rigs where he offsets time driven by density. Crazy stuff, just look up his talks about tide, plenty hints there

if they have a ton of windows users (like paul said) why not create zbrush for something other then an apple product. (like the samsung galaxy tablets). I doubt most pc users have an ipad laying around.
@AndreyLebrovАй бұрын
There’s no if. It’s a fact haha When it comes to tablets, ipads have larger user base and proven to prevail on performance front. Even though other manufacturers combined(!) form over 50% of tablet users, majority of those tablets aren’t technological miracles and are intended for light use.
@Crick2x9Ай бұрын
I am primarily a Windows user, but ended up getting an iPad to draw and now I can fiddle with sculpting, and honestly the art creation experience is MILES ahead of any android tablet.
