Hi! I didn’t add any color or highlights to this topper. Typically, I wouldn’t suggest highlighting any topper, it can compromise the hair on the topper. You can add color to the topper though. I would suggest finding a stylist that is familiar with alternative hair. All my stylist did to this topper was add curtain bangs and thin out some of the hair in front. I hope that helps! ❤️

Hi Karrina, I've bought an upgraded Courtney too. I changed the part to the right (almost near where the hand tied section ends) but despite trying to blow it up and away, it just hangs in my face. Your seems to frame your face and not hang even before the bangs were cut. I've not washed mine yet so curious if yours had been washed in the video?

@@CandiceBaker-c8h great question! I almost always wash my toppers right away! This helps give the hair a natural lift and texture. Blow drying the hair using a round brush blow dryer also helps train the hair away from your face! I hope that helps! If not, find me on instagram and I can demonstrate another method!

@Wighair_selfcare I'll have to try washing it then. Do you blow dry from damp or only after it has air dried completely? Can you provide the link to the video on blow drying please? Thanks for your help! I might have more questions as this is my first topper, and it's not ready to wear in public yet!

@@CandiceBaker-c8h I typically allow it to air dry partially then blow dry it while it’s still damp. Try giving me a follow on instagram, I have a lot more short form videos about washing and blow drying! You can also message me directly on insta too. ❤️

Does the Courtney come in skin top? Also, the Aura, and Courtney seem similar. What's the difference between the two?

Hi! The Courtney topper only comes in a mono top. The Aura does have a skin top. The aura also is a lower density and a smaller base. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions ❤️
