We have a Powell’s in Chicago - used to have two and I was friends with the manager’s mother - but now there’s only one. It’s nothing like Portland however. 🧐

You are so lucky to have Powell's nearby. It sounds like an incredible place. I don't have any used bookstores near me. I used to go into NY City once a week, and I regularly visited The Strand, which is the closest I've ever come to anything like Powell's. Thanks for the tag, Allen. I will have to find a way to do this tag even though I have no used bookstores near me.

@@bighardbooks770 I've had a couple of favorite local bookstores, and sadly, they have all closed.I do go to a Barnes and Noble, but I have to travel a ways to get there as the two local ones both closed too. Sad. I'll figure out a way to do the tag, though.
