I'm not hearing Lies for the Liars at all. If I had to compare it to anything from their catalog, I'd compare it to Evolution from Imaginary Enemy. It even has a similar vocal melody in parts. And the production is closest to Heartwork which makes sense as it's closest in time and it's the current form of Feldys production. There's also another song on the new album that has similar vocal melodies to Make Believe from Imaginary Enemy.
