Jazz fan here. I like the direction this team is heading. Win or lose, last year, this team was fun to watch and they were competitive in every game. The Jazz are currently very horizontal. Way too many rotation level players. They need to convert those many into one top tier player and I don't think that move (Luka) is on the horizon yet. If the Jazz don't suffer any major injury problems this year they could win 41 and make the play-in. Go Jazz. Cheers.

I agree, I dont mind that for the Jazz though because as of now they're still trying to figure out how good guys like Ochai, Hendricks and George will be and im sure once they know they'll be able to determine who and what to give up for a star.

Danny, once again, did a great job! The WC has many good to great teams, established such as the Nuggets, Suns, LAL, LAC, GSW potential such as Pelicans, Grizzlies, Volwes, Kings Probably emerging as the Jazz and OKC ... The only teams that are tanking are the Spurs and Portland , I don't even know where to put the Mavs, Rockets ! So, getting into the play+inn should be great success in my book for the Jazz, the altitude and the home crowd could help, but realistically, next season should be the breakthrough, when the rookies settle down, and the rotations are established. Good luck though, I love teams that are grown organically!

I’ve been a believer in the Jazz since they made that Markennen trade, it’s honestly insane how good some of the rebuilds around the league are going. Portland now has a great start with Scoot and Ayton; Detroit has Cade, Ausar, Durin and more; the Spurs have been making quiet trades the past couple seasons and now have a good core with Wemby; and the Thunder are probably going to be a top seed in the West this season because of their insane rebuild. Crazy stuff.

I hope you know his "Military Service" was basically making coffee and running errands in the time he wasn't working out (Cause they give him a lot of time off to work out). Athletes in the military are not normal people in the military. Also Finland has never been in a war, its not involved in a war now, and the US military basically protects 99% of european countries because they don't have real militaries. So it was a chill summer for him outside of one haircut

@@blablablaa14 I hope you know Finland was absolutely involved in the war in Afghanistan from 02-21 as well as Iraq and service is far more involved than getting coffee and a haircut if you do like 4 mins of research but thanks for your moronic lesson in geopolitics.

@blablablaa14 And I hope you know your comment is totally uninformed. 😂 First of all: Finland has never been in war? If you count out the wars we participated as a part of Sweden and part of Russia way back when and also count out our civil war, there is still little things called world wars. In first one there were only some Finns participating but in the second one we fought Russia twice when they tried to occupy us. Oh and in the end we did fight Germans too, to get them out of our country as a part of the peace treaty with Russia. So yes, we have had war in our own soil and yes, there are still people alive who participated on that. That's more that you can say if you are from USA as I assume. Yes, we are not in a war now but we live next to Russia, so we are always prepared. We just applied to NATO too, so don't go throwing of USA is protecting us to our face either. We know well enough that we need to protect ourselves and NATO will only be deterrent for Russia to not attack. Our military is very good in many ways (size of reserve and equipment for example) compared to the population of our country. And that leads to the second part: that's why we have mandatory military service so everyone will know what to do if worst comes worse. Yes athletes like Lauri have their perks like world cup counting towards their service time as an "exercise" eg. sports commands. Rest assured though that rest of the time he was in shooting range, crawling in forest and also sleeping there (he told how he slept some nights only head in the tent because he wanted to give some room for the other guys too in small tent 😂), marching and doing all the other bootcamp stuff Finnish conscripts do. It's true that after all that training he had time in the evening to do basketball training too, but most guys in the Finnish military for most of the nights have "evening leave" to go to military cafe or even to the city if the military unit is close enough to some city. If you are still convinced that Lauri didn't do anything, here is one more funny tidbit: when troops from USA come to train with soldiers from Finland they always say that conscripts in Finland who have served one year are on same skill level than guys from USA military that have served three years. That's because our military training is much more intense and condensed and specialised to get the conscripts through it as smoothly with as much useful skills as possible. So if Lauri served half a year I would say that logically correlates maybe to being around 1,5 years in US military.

Great video man! I really think people are sleeping on the current and future Jazz. This team is absolutely loaded with talent and picks. I just think Lauri and Kessler are pure bread winners-they make so many winning plays on the floor. Like you, I fully believe Lauri can get even better and be a top 10 player-hopefully he watches some Dirk highlights and gains some of that mid range isolation from Dirk. Can’t wait to see what they can do! Also, Coach Hardy is literally the perfect coach for this team.

The jazz have been my favorite team to constantly rebuild in 2k. The Jazz have already done an absolutely excellent job of rebuilding while not even bottoming out. Nobody batted an eye when Kessler was in the Gobert trade and hes already showing he can be VERY good as a starting center. Keyontae George could potentially ve a steal, as well as just having a great first draft in general in Hendricks and Sensabaugh. Lauri popped off. John Collins no matter how it goes was such a great value trade. Ochai is a sleeper pick i feel, that nobody is really talking about, and this past year was only their FIRST year. They still have many more years to go with extra picks. Very excited for how this team can turn out 4-5 years from now.

Im excited for the up coming season. As a Fin soon as Lauri was traded to Utah Ive started to support Utah. Team looks promising and alot of potential to exceed expectations. To be honest its very different to watch Markkanen than any other star in the league. Missed 3 and turnovers makes me want to swear. If has a good game then first its "can you repeat that sir?" in my mind. I know its harsh but Im guessing that its because I really enjoy when game goes well and want him to succeed in the NBA. None of the other NBA players gets such cold treatment from me, but it comes from a good place. Rest of the team is full of players who can play good ball and can surprise anyone. Im guessing that consistensy to play good games one of the keys for the next season and less turnovers. Watched few matches last season when ball handing and passing seemed to be a joke or something. When saw Hardys face not trying to yell at everyone I felt that pain. There are great teams in east and west for the next season so its going to be a real challenge for everyone. I wish the very best for the entire Utah Jazz organization and hope that playoffs is one of the main goals for the next season. P.S. I was inspired to write this when I saw that 40% 3 pointers stat... had to check it out and it was 39.2%. Which is really good still but maybe next year another over 40%. GL&HF

If I remember correctly 3 pointers were over 40% but in the last part of the season when Lauri was clearly banged up his procents dropped and dipped the whole year total. Also he didn't shoot well at all at the start of the season. So most parts of the season he was 40, 50, 88 or something similar for the whole season. Not really crossing the 40, 50, 90 but close.
