Louis is easily my favorite of the L4D 1 cast, and I'm not just saying that because this is a podcast interviewing the guy that voiced him. He's an average guy who looks for the silver lining in everything, despite the fact that he's living in a zombie apocalypse. He's always looking forward to something, always hoping for the best despite the hopeless scenarios he finds himself in- and man, Earl Alexander's voice work brings that to life. He doesn't sound like a character in a game, but like a regular person- and that takes a lot of skill to portray.

@@billw.overbeck8913 Zoey's would be interesting, Jen taylor is the voice but she's probably the most highly booked out of all 8 actors. but Zoey's model Sonja Kinski might be worth looking into.

@@billw.overbeck8913 Probably because of the hate that the character is getting from the new players of l4d2, just imagine having to record all of these interesting voicelines only to have the worst and most boring ones you voiced over to be the only ones implemented. Shit sucks, man.

@@kanderion5685 Painfully agreed, I want to say despite some of the not so good stuff that came out of the Last Stand update, my personal favorite is the fact they did make more of the unused lines more accessible I actually really grew to enjoy Rochelle a whole lot more and now she's a close favorite tbh

@@Nebulasecura Really interesting story, there's an old interview from over ten years ago where Earl talked about learning Japanese because he specifically wanted to voice a character in an English dub and also the Japanese version of the character. I hope that's been going well for him, crazy funny he doesn't play games too much but loves anime LMAO
