I had repetitive stress fractures, even got put on a study for that, with a stack of paper over an inch thick but the VA said nothing was related. My Dad was in the USAF as a fighter plane electrical mechanic in the 50s, with NO earpro standing next to running jets, with horrible hearing loss and the VA told him to pound sand as well. Neither of us saw combat and I shudder at what the poor folks hurt in combat are dealing with. Meanwhile, I know guys who barely even got pinkeye once in the service are living off a 100% disability and don't even have to work now

I grew up on a veterans ranch, where guys went when they couldn’t live by themselves. Most were from Korea, and WWII. It was like a motel, and they got fed 3 meals a day, their laundry, and rooms cleaned. It was paid for by the VA. The VA just treated their symptoms, never really tried to help them. Lots of mental issues. Fred was stationed in the islands of Alaska. The army forgot his unit there for over 2 years after the war was over. He just walked around all day like he was walking post on guard duty. Was really sad sometimes. I’ve never went to the VA ever. This country doesn’t treat its veterans very well. We loose 22 day everyday.

After fighting for 13 years and having 3 reconstructive surgeries all on my shoulders and awaiting 1 on my neck and both knees. Also had Pneumococcal and Staph Pneumonia and spent 18 days in ICU (Lost 38 pounds) the VA finally granted me service connection. I know a lot of Vets just like me who have suffered. I understand where your coming from. I was in a mass casualty incident when my airfield in iraq was mortared by 120s back in 2006. I had a crushed shoulder, partially paralyzed arm, fluid backed up in my brain to the point they recommended a shunt (but I said no) and my vertebrae we're compressed and rotated 15 degree to the left. There was all this evidence but it took a month to sort through what happened and get the officers (my btl cdr, btl xo and a direct witness who was a cpt) to confirm the basics of what happened. I was rated 100% permanent in 45 days. Then there was an episode of Dr Phil who did an episode on veterans care in the VA. The show displayed that there were a little over a million veterans of oif/oef (at the time) and over one million claims backlogged in the VA. Dr Phil said "we'll wait a minute... That's everybody!" That's the problem

ima go there and say the VA actually isn't that bad. When I had to do a court ordered program the VA swooped in and helped me out. A bunch of dudes get together they'll legit sit around after the program is done and try to figure out known claims to get more "free" money, those types mess it up. now you gotta figure out which claims are legit and which ones aren't. Some dudes get out and work labor intensive jobs like construction but try to tie their work injuries after getting out to time in service in order to get free money.

Good luck. 😆 especially considering my medical record is 2000 pages and aggravated is a thing. Ya again good luck. For those asking themselves how I got in with that kind of medical record. I was smart and went Army. Enough said. For those who don't know. Army doesn't really check medical records. They don't care. As long as you don't start blabbing too everyone about your medical history. You're good. Of course I don't care right now though, because I'm discharged and I'm willing to bet if I re-enlist into the Army and I go too the medboard considering how the Army is. They'll probably be like do you have that condition anymore? I'll say what condition. They'll be like that's what we wanna hear. Other branches be like he is a literal danger too everyone and Army be like or a seriously dangerous weapon that we can use. I mean I did drop the MOS(mother of all shits) on base. Cleared out a latrine in less then 3 seconds. My friends like too say if the Military weaponized my farts it would be considered bio warfare. Those who I farted around on base. Sorry battles.
