I kind of prefer when music isn't mainstream , it kind of makes it like your secret little escape route that none of your friends understand , when music becomes mainstream people don't appreciate any of the important things like the lyrics , the real meaning and they never acknowledge the instruments , the beautiful music you first came across just turns into a popular trend that everyone has to be apart of

youre not crazy. My first thoughts were same. i thought its about god. Some parts of song dont make any sense in dat ,,about god,, way, but in my opinion it still can be about god even tho band said its about singer hating himself for his jeliously, video looks pretty similar to this. It doesnt matter what this song is about tho. Every person will take somethin from song :)
