In this video I went vintage toy hunting in thrift stores around Dallas, TX and found some cool finds!
I scored some vintage toys, but also left quite a few vintage toys behind.
But the biggest surprise was toy in which the value of the toys surprised me.

Thrift store prices are definitely trending up a little. Video games especially, but toys as well. That said the old 20% coupon helps level the playing field a little.

Some of the prices can be a bit much, but for the most part they understand that people are coming up reselling, and they do have to pay the employees. Some of the goodwills to me just give stuff away, one by me was offering buy one dvd for $1.99 get 8 free, I don’t think that’s good business even if your getting free!

Ya, but if something is reselling on eBay for $20 and they mark it for $20 when they got it for free, that’s not a “thrift store” thats a “Resale Store”. Some low income families depend on reselling for an extra $500-$1000 /month to supplement their income in this horrible economy Biden has created

Goodwill was intended for low income families. It was never intended for flippers or resellers. I’m a big fan Burf…I really am, but resellers are ruining Thrift.

But Goodwill doesn’t have to become a reseller themselves. In fact, many low income families are the ones who resell for extra income…this fact…most “resellers” are not making thousands or 10a of thousands of dollars every month…80% of them make an extra $500-$1000 per month to help supplement their incomes…especially over the last few years due the current administrations economic policies. So I would have to respectfully disagree with you that resellers are ruining thrift stores. Greed from thrift stores CEOs is what is ruining thrift stores. They get it for FREE, they don’t have to charge retail fees for the stuff.
