I’m starting to get nervous, I’ve only got two books to go then I’m out of this fantastic world. I can’t stand it, I won’t survive. I’ve lived in this world for a couple of weeks now and feel like the real world is the fantasy one, and this one is the real one. These books are so incredibly well written and equally well narrated, they completely pull you in. The characters are as real to me as my family and friends are, and I can’t bear the thought of leaving them. halibut is often used in frozen fishsticks. For some reason I had thought it was freshwater but its a saltwater fish (ocean). I love the narrator, the accent and everything. it legit sounds like different people are doing the narration. I have two and a half hours to go, took a short break to eat when they brougt up fish and chips , hehe....and diving back in :)

Engaging character and the plot kept me interested. Narrator is excellent. Having enjoyed other series by Heather G Harris, though, I did find it jarring that this one ignored so many of the “rules” of the well-developed “Other” world, even really basic concepts - her co-author clearly hasn’t read enough of the Other books to understand it. Still engaging but I will look for other books by Heather G Harris alone - or other authors.

Hi! This book is set in a whole new world. It isn't connected to the Other series at all! It is a fresh new book, not set in the same universe as the "Other" books! I hope this helps. Maybe have another listen with that in mind! Then it won't be jarring!
