I soooo look forward to the day when God opens Jonathan Cahn's heart and mind to the Truth of the Last Supper in John 6 as foreshadowed in the Passover Celebration!!! Mary doesn't pray for us. She was chosen by God yes, but she had other children after Jesus. You need to get out of that belief system, it is false. We pray to Jesus, he said HE is the way and the truth and the life and NO ONE comes to the Father except through HIM. NOT Mary.

He entrusted Himself, in absolutely helpless human form from the very moment of His conception, to the care and protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary!!! Aren't we called to follow Jesus by imitating Him in every way? I invite you to a deeper understanding of Mary in the salvation story. I am definitely NOT a scholar, but Scott Hahn, Father Ripperger, Father Alar and many others as well as the entirety of the ACTUAL teachings of the Catholic faith could help you. (Catholic teachings are likely quite different than what you think they are if you haven't actually studied them ... Bible in a Year and Catachism in a Year with Father Mike Schmitz are excellent resources on KZbin for free) Anyway, Mary was preserved from original sin at her own conception so that she would be unhindered in perfecting all the Graces necessary to be able to recieve and participate in her role as the Ark of the New Covenant. (Remember the guy who touched the Old Ark to steady it and died instantly in penalty for touching what was Holy? Mary, herself, had to be Holy in order to contain The Bread of Life in her womb.) She is the only fully human person who never sinned. She did not have any other children after Jesus, but rather Jesus bestowed her as a mother to "the deciple whom He loved" as He was dying on the cross. That deciple's name isn't specified in Scripture because they were meant to be a "stand-in" for each and every one of US. Mary is our spiritual mother, meant to guide and teach us the way to her Son. Attending her school, so to speak, is the fastest, easiest and most efficient way to get to know her Son because no one knows the Son better than His mother! And in her perfect humility, she can do NOTHING other than God's Will. So you can be certain that anything Mary does is for the salvation of mankind. You could look at her this way ... in relation to her Son and mankind, Mary is like the earth's moon. She has absolutely no light of her own. But she revolves around all our human endeavors and faithfully reflects the Light of her Son (God's Graces) down upon us. Of course she prays for us. Surely you pray for your friends, family, and enemies too. As the Queen of Heaven, it is actually her role to petition the King on our behalf. (Remember that in the Davidic Kingdom, it is the King's mother who is Queen. All those wives and concubines would have been impossible to sort out to identify one as a queen.) It seems to me that makes Mary a part of "the great cloud of witnesses" and, in fact, the Queen of them all. So, yeah, you can pray to Mary for her intercession. You'll be in good company since all the great Saints have 2 things in common ... a devotion to Mary and a devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist. When God spoke to Moses in the desert regarding the Mana from Heaven that they were to recieve and eat to survive, God also mentioned that they were being tested to see if they would follow His instructions. In John 6, Jesus commands us to eat His flesh and drink His blood, stating clearly that unless we do that, we have no life in us. He lost MANY followers because of that teaching. As The Lamb Of God celebrating the Passover Meal at that moment it seems blatantly clear to Catholics that we have no other option if we want to be saved. The deciples He met on the road to Emmaus after His resurrection recognized Him in the breaking of the bread. That is essentially the Catholic Mass. Jesus comes to us in the "disguise" of the consecrated host. Ever hear the old saying, you are what you eat? It takes on a whole new meaning when you consider that Jesus IS the Bread of Life come down from Heaven and given away freely at every Catholic Mass. (You must be a Baptized Catholic to properly recieve the Eucharist.) So if you want to be Christ-like, you must do as He commanded and eat the body of the sacrificed Lamb. If you don't believe me, you can ask Him yourself. All Catholic Churches keep at least one consecrated host in their Tabernacle at all times. (That candle burning beside it verifies His presence there.) Many also have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance on the altar on a regular basis. You don't need an appointment to sit in the Church and ask Jesus face to face if I'm telling you the truth! Go ask Him. He's waiting for you!! In case you missed it, there was a mockery of the Last Supper at the opening ceremony for the Olympics in Paris recently. Evil KNOWS AND BELIEVES the Truths taught by the Catholic faith. That's why satanists steal Catholic consecrated hosts and hold Black masses. They don't steal bread from Protestants and mock their praise services. We live in the midst of a spiritual battle going on all around us. Did you see the pictures of Paris during the blackout after their mockery? That singular, brightly lit hilltop was the Basilica that has held 24 hour a day continuous Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for 135 years!!! Coincidence? Our God is an awesome God!!! I invite you to look into Bishop Robert Barron's KZbin Playlist on the Rosary. The Rosary is THE weapon for our times!!! Check out Marion Apparitions, too. The miracle of the sun at Fatima was witnesssed by tens of thousands of people! The image of Our Lady of Guadeloupe is pretty cool too! But again, dont take my word for it that all these things are real. Go to a Catholic Chuch when its silent and ask Jesus for yourself! May almighty God bless you and Jonathan Cahn and open your hearts and minds to the Truths of the Catholic faith! And may the Blessed Virgin Mary take you under her mantle and gently guide you to her Son! Ave Maria!! Viva Cristo Rey!!! No matter where you've run No matter where you've roamed Arms wide open, God is always waiting to welcome you back home!
