@@Velographer ... I grew up in Perth, but moved to NSW in 92, but I still recognise the roads you ride on as we get back to visit family every so often. I ride with a group of older guys all in their 60's + ... experienced riders, but at times don't adhere to hand signals and calls which can be an issue. Keep doing what you are doing ... great content.

My hot take....Unless you do races, i think group riding is pointless for the majority of people who ride casually. The only benefit is the social aspect.

Riding at speed amongst inexperienced cyclists, no way. Also I'll stick to the psp after an encounter with a psycho skip truck driver who almost hit us on The Esplanade Mt Pleasant.
