I've been riding this bike in Colorado now for about a month. This is my first electric bike. I've been riding a Gary Fisher hardtail for 20 years. I've taken it on a few trails although on nice days it's become my commuter bike to work. In high gear along with Boost mode 5, I found myself going almost 40 mph. I think I need to upgrade my bike helmet just to be safe. I love that I can speed past a moped and not have to buy insurance or a license plate :). I'm betting that will eventually change. I love mine! I agree it is a phenomenal deal. I can't believe how quiet this thing is, only thing I hear is the knobby tires. Definitely a ton of fun to ride like a motorcycle.

Mine has 339 on it and still runs like a champ can’t wait to check out the cadence toggle sensor

I was able to make my stock Ramblas rims tubeless and haven't had any issues.

Alot of people have, you just need to be cautious because there is zero bead shelf. Any movement of the bead and it could be dangerous.

So the 29” tire looks like it fits with room to spare in the stock 27.5 fork.

Will, love your videos on the Summit 1! As a fellow LV resident, would you recommend this as one of the best choices for our environment/terrain? Looking for an ebike that is a good value while still being versatile in a variety of situations. Thanks in advance!

I'm new to mountain biking and still learning about the hobby. I've clocked 374 miles on my bike so far. My biggest issue has been the chain popping off, which eventually broke the plastic piece used as a chain guide. Do you have any recommendations for replacement chain guides for this bike? Also, any yt videos you recommend for making this bike tubeless? I appreciate any advice you can give!

Deore 592 derailer has more chain tension that might help. Also make sure you adhere to the wide / thin tooth placement when refitting the chain.
