To ILMJXXX.....great work on some great videos. In days gone by, there was a radio station that you would have loved.... WLAC-AM.............."WAY DOWN SOUTH IN DIXIE" from Nashville / Gallatin, Tennessee...that played some of the R&B music that you didn't hear on a lot of other stations. WLAC could be heard at night over a lot of the USA back then. Thanks for posting these videos!

And it shows Dick Clark really did appreciate all the Motown artists as he showcased a few of the lesser-known artists on "Where The Action Is." The Velvelettes song "He Was Really Saying Something" was later covered by the UK Girlband Banarama who this year celebrate 40 Years together and they were the first and only Girlband from the UK to do American Bandstand. Another one of their Songs "Needle In A Haystack" was covered by an Australian Group called The Easybeats.

I am adding those clips you have that turn out to be from American bandstand. I hope to have complete playlists of everything available on line for American bandstand from 1957- 1970. Not only do I see it as not my place to record male dancers, but also not my job to cover time periods younger people should be doing...as a matter of fact what I'm doing should have been done 50 years ago, when access to videos was easier and Dick Clark was still around to help- find videos.
