This is maybe the best idea we can get of what _Loaded_ would have been like with Moe on the drums. This is also one reason I prefer the Doug Yule era. I don't think I even want to know how John Cale would have approached the bass on this song. Yule's playing is very fluid and groovy, using lines that may not be 100% original, but they sure feel good. A copy of this recording should be sent into outer space.

I was in 6th grade when my brothers band , " the five steps down" were practicing and I still distinctly remember the band talking about the "Velvet Underground". I was suddenly in that instance concious of the power of words. The band member Bob Garson was saying that this was a new sound, but for me I became hung up on the image that " velvet underground " created in just those words. Suddenly I became intrigued with words and the power of imagry they held for me. It was a moment in time I have never forgotten. I can see and even smell at times that sudden realization those words had. The five steps down; a name that I also like disbanded, my brother became a writer, Bob went on to play bass for " the strawberry alarm clock", with thier hit " Incense and peppermint " and I continue to be fascinated with words.
