Gotta try the beignets at Grand Lux. Available only on the Palazzo’s side at their Grand Lux. When we arrive in Las Vegas, it’s the first thing I have to have with my coffee lol. They serve them with vanilla, chocolate and a raspberry sauce and are freshly made to order. To die for!

@@MakeItHappenWithDon I'm definitely getting the meatball in Lavo and I'm looking forward to the buffet breakfast. Fill your boots for $25 ain't bad. We are regular visitors to Vegas but last year we went for our 10th wedding anniversary and we vlogged our trip for the first time and loved it so we are doing it again. We renewed our vows at the Graceland wedding chapel, what a day we had. We are in the airport now waiting to depart for a 2 week stay as we are from Northern Ireland. Looking forward to watching the rest of your vlogs when we get home to help with the Vegas blues. Have a good day.

Watching this food tour has me convinced that The Venetian is a foodie paradise in Las Vegas! The variety of restaurants and cuisines is impressive. If you could only dine at one place in The Venetian for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Wow. That's crazy to think of. 🤔 Mott 32? Maybe. But then, I would never get Italian again. MATTEOS? Maybe, but then I would never get steak again. CUT, or Smith & Wolensky perhaps. The are so many places to eat here. We only tried a small fraction of them.

I get this question alot. I personally would choose S & W for a couple reasons. First, it is way more casual. I do not feel as comfortable at fancy upscale restaurants. Second, is about the side dishes. I get annoyed paying $18 for broccoli or a baked potatoe. At S W, they allow you to order half orders on side dishes. The half order is still big enough to share and you can try a couple things for $15. Finally, my steak at S & W was huge and tasted as good as Delmonicos steak. And the chocolate cake was amazing. Not an opinion but a fact. Venetian by far has more food options. From far food to find dining. Endless options at Venetian.

Catching up on your videos. Enjoying the content. You mentioned Canaletto wasn’t the best Italian food. In your opinion, what’s the best Italian restaurant in Vegas (any hotel)?

I can not say we have a favorite. Matteos in Venetian was probably the best food. Scarpetta in Cosmopolitan was outstanding. Giada in The Cromell has tasty pasta dishes, but it's way overpriced. In a few weeks, we are going to Carbone in Aria. I have high expectations, and I have a feeling it is going to be the best. We have videos on the 3 I mentioned if you wanna check them out.

Also, Maggianos in the Fashion Show Mall is really good and very reasonably priced.

You just missed bouchon bistro, it's a top restaurant in the Venetian, one of the best restaurants. Lavo is better than canaletos. Yardbird is a gem, the skillet cornbread is a must try. Black tap has a truffle burger that's really good too.

Thanks Ethan. We have never eaten at Bouchon but it is on our list. I enjoyed all of the other places except Canoletos. Wasn't impressed with it. Loved Lavo and Yardbird and had a great burger at Blacktap. Thanks for the comment.

I had the truffle burger last night and it was tasteless but maybe cause I got the hamburger well done instead of medium well. The fries were limp and really bad. And the shake was nothing special. Maybe cause it’s 107 here but anyway I was still shocked cause everyone was bragging about this place.

The Grand Lux Cafe off the Palazzo casino floor is open for breakfast from 6am till 11am. They still have the buffet. It's listed at the top of the breakfast menu but it's kind of confusing because the description is under Florentine Omelet. Grand Lux Express Breakfast. Hope you get to enjoy it Lillian. 😊

@@MakeItHappenWithDon Thank you so much for replying. I am beyond excited to be hopefully going for one week in late November. (cheapest time from Toronto, Ontario). This is a big splurge for us! :) Just trying to decide if the Prestige Lounge upgrade is worth it. We aren't huge eaters but like nice, small portions. Same with drinks, just a nice cocktail. If we don't do Prestige a fairly priced buffet would be perfect. Your video was a great help!

Not sure. Never had them there. We usually get the buffet. It's not a huge buffet, but your drinks (non alcoholic) are included. If you got coffee, and a small orange juice, it would probably cost $12.00 alone. For $25, it's all you can eat and quench that desert thist with as many beverages you can handle. The Henry in Cosmo has an amazing short rib eggs Benedict. Also, although pricey, Buchon has great breakfast in Vebetian only on weekends. Hope this helps. Both great. S & W is more casual and much less expensive. Demonico is much fancier. I personally like S & W much better. They let you get half portions sides so you can get a couple of them and share. If you like more upscale, you might want Delmonico. If you like it casual, S&W all day. And don't even get me started on the Chocolate cake at S&W.

I see the Italians charged you for bread . In Italy, we were charged for bread and separately for butter. Often the bread was tasteless. I started to call it farmers' bread. The Venentian looks good for those who do not want to hike through massive casinos?

The Venetian is awesome. Along with The Palazzo, you get 2 resorts in 1. And endless restaurants. Only thing worse than paying for bread, is paying for Coke refills. Matteos in The Venetian is a great Italian restaurant. I wouldn't go back to Canoletto. Thanks for watching.

Of course we did. That's the whole point of the video. To show how deliscious or not deliscious the food is. Help you decide if you care to spend your hard earned money on a particular restaurant. Personally, I think steak houses are over rated. I can make a better steak at home for a fraction of the price. But, people like steakhouse reviews so I have to suffer through the meal for them. 😀
