I’m not exaggerating-that’s what she expects. Her husband is no angel, but Daisy has talked at length, several times, about how she spent one night torturing him. She burnt some of his hair and lashed him across the face with wet cloths, almost blinding him. That’s what she’s willing to talk about. I’m not going to guess what she’s leaving out of the story.
