Gracias María por la buena explicación sobre las diferencias y en cuáles escenarios se utilizan. Se nota que eres amante de las lenguas.

Estaba pensando en la diferencia entre "quedar" y "encontrarse". No estaba seguro si había una diferencia o no. Nos diste una explicación clara y detallada. Muchas gracias.❤

Thanks, this was really helpful. I especially liked all the practical examples and the differences between Spain vs. Latin America. I live in Spain and keep accidentally using LA words/phrases so now I know it’s always quedar and not encontrarse 😄

Excellent video, as always. The fact that you can use econtrarse to mean be both planned and random encounters makes things a little tricky, but adding "por casualidad" is a great tip. I have no idea why that never occurred to me before lol. And you packed a hell of a lot of material in that 10 minute video! But I would like to add you that Verse can also be used to talk about meeting with someone since you didn't cover it: ¿A qué hora nos vemos? / ¿Dónde nos vemos? / Nos vemos en el parque a las ocho. Please keep being awesome and keep up the great work. I would have loved to have met you when I was in La Areñosa. Ni modo, para la próxima!

Maria, la Filipina! Not bad, but you need to use a lot less English. Translating everything just holds low level learners back. I'm sure your Spanish is good enough for you to explain everything in easy Spanish.

Hey Robert! I'm actually Colombian :) and there are videos completely in Spanish in the channel. Just try to cover everyone's needs as much as I can.

@@LingoMasterySpanish Very sorry. I thought I heard a Filipino accent when you speak English. It's a very nice English accent in any case. I really think translation helps the teacher more than the student. Translating everything is a lot easier than explaining things in simple Spanish especially for students at a low level. North American students seems to expect everything explained in English, which is the reason that a lot of them remain at beginners level for far too long. English speaking students from the rest of the world don't expect continuous translation at all. Spanish lessons coming out of Spain are usually taught entirely in Spanish (at all levels), and the students progress towards fluency a lot faster with this approach. And this is done even though these teachers (Iberian teachers of castellano that is) also speak and write good English.
