Similar to the way Frank Frazetta or Norman Rockwell stylized their work well beyond the capability of any camera, Gil Elvgren was a master at achieving this in a painterly style and in my opinion was one of the greatest illustrators of all time. Best known for his Napa Auto Parts Calendars which I don't think were included in this video, correct?

Thanks for sharing your take on Elvgren. I actually saved his commercials and advertisement works for a separate video, as the tone in those were quite different from his pinups. stat tuned for that one. Cheers
