Here’s another story: Coralline was a (Norwegian?) girl whose dad died and her mother was extremely abusive. Coralline saw a door in the wall and cut the wall with (???) and there was just bricks behind the door so her mother beat her until Coraline was unconscious. The mom noticed what she did and told Coralline to open her eyes, and she obliged. The mother sewed buttons into Corallines eyes that night. The neighbors smelt a horrible smell so they went inside the house and called the cops, the cops went inside and found *Coralline’s lifeless body.*

There’s also a different back story to Coraline: There were two little girls who met a man on the beach. He had a guitar that when he played it a man and a woman came out and began dancing. The little girls asked “what can we trade you for it?” And the man said “behave bad and just wreck everything.” So they did. And came back the next day and reported all the bad things they did. The man said “not good enough! Do something worse!” So they broke all the windows and tore all their clothes. Their mother said “if you keep this behavior up, I’ll be sent away and you will have a glass mother instead to keep you behaved! She will have an ugly tail and buttons for eyes and will be my entirely out of glass!” The little girls didn’t believe her so they went to the beach the next day, and reported all the bad things they did. The man just said “do worse!” So they did. UNTILL they came back the next day and reported all the bad things they did. The man said “I cannot give it to you my family is moving away. And now you have a glass mother!” The two little girls ran home to see their new mother in the window dragging its ugly tail and it’s button eyes sewed into its face and it’s skin, made out of glass! And their mother, was nowhere to be found.
