Dear LC, we wish you all the best for your last trip in Malaysia. Hope your short trip in Malaysia has been memorable and you brought home our Malaysian hospitality in your heart. Malaysia is one of the most popular under rated country in SE Asia and your video showed us we have a lot more to offer to the world. Safe travels and may you reach home to your family safely.

Hi Yan welcome to Sarawak. Foreigners seldom venture inland where the true cultures can be experienced. Im a bidayuh(@ land dayak) another ethnic group here in Sarawak. We celebrate Gawai or Harvest festival on 1st and 2nd of June. Whereas the Kadazans and other ethnic groups in Sabah celebrate their harvest festival (Pesta Keamatan) on 31th of May. I hope you do come back to visit us here in Borneo.

Most Sarawakian natives or urban people born in the 1950's or 60s can speak better English than the latest generation today because Sarawak was once under the reign of the British White Rajahs & later colonized by the British who set up schools fr the people; followed by the spread of christianity by the western priest penetrating their influence into the most interior part of the region in Sarawak or Borneo.xx

Many of the indigenous tribes in borneo (including the iban & bidayuh) are technically "Austronesian" people who are (speculated) to originate from taiwan. You could do some research and will discover that many of the existing aboriginal tribes in taiwan share the same physical traits, language & culture similarities with the tribes in borneo. Cheers ✌️

If there would be a connection between Palawan And Sarawak/Sabah via ferry or airplane this would help a lot, I think a lot of people would go to both places.. But its more difficult and expensive to go there, than to go to Kuala Lumpur, despite being so close to each other. Thats really sad.

I love your videos. It's informative and can tell that you did some research. I've seen some other (whom I am also grateful for) who record their experiences here, but many don't seem to bother adding any insight for viewers or research, even after their trip, before publishing the videos. As much I as enjoy watching people discover my country, I truly appreciate when they take time to learn because it shows how much they care about the people and places they visit. I don't mind if they don't though, it just makes me really happy when they do it like you 😊

Miri(美里市)is near to the World's famous caves The Mulu Caves (姆鲁山),kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH6QoqeOmM9jgLc kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqGagnuebLp7lcU there are also the Niah Caves (尼亚山洞) kzbin.info/www/bejne/naHMiKVja8hrp6M hours road trip from Miri city.
