It's neat you can get all the fancy toys...I really want one of your counter top stills.

Because I saw your review of the smaller Vevor still, I got the 13 gallon Vevor. I modified the condenser as I think it was your video showed. Works great. I have free cold water where I live, but that will change. I'm really going to look at this when that happens. I have a garden hose from the basement washer and dryer area up the stairs to the kitchen, and a 3/8" vinyl tube draining back down to the basement floor drain. Works so well that I'm proud of it. Once I get it tuned right I barely need to adjust it during a run.

got the Vevor Chiller - thing really works great. Only used for one run so far but man it made it easier to run by reflux.

I was lucky to get a 30g chest freezer. I can run 3 kegs before the ice melts and it gets too warm. But that would be a great addition to my cooling solution

It was my understanding that the optimum temperature was in the 60s.

Hi there love your channel ❤ But I have been trying to find a recipe to make a mash/ must out of fresh oranges and I cant seem to find one only for wine or brandy. But I was hoping you would try to come up with one. please.......

If you were to use only the same water recycling without a chiller, how much water would you need for a run such that the cooling water stays within desirable temperature limits? Thank you.

Hey there, I love your channel and I am interested if you been trying different setups because I’m running a 10gl still with a smaller chiller and my temp on chiller never got over 45F for all the run in dabble distilled and I’m using only 5Gl bucket for chiller, just let me know and I can give you the info about my setup.

Hey phill what proof do you average after blending with running without a thumper?

what are your thoughts on the 1.5 hp Vevor aquarium water chiller? looks to be about $750

Do you toss more heads and 4shits for Brandi than you do grain spirits?
@dangerousdylan6262Ай бұрын
Vevor actually has a 1.5hp for around $600... i bet that thing would keep it at 70
@tigersjourneys45764 ай бұрын
How long does it take you to run that 20?

Those little Vevor water chillers are trick. I wonder how a plate chiller inline with your return water would do to knock the return temp down and keep you cooler longer also.
@clintonhoush10884 ай бұрын
8 to 13 gallon still would probably be perfect for this chiller. I usually get through (using milk jugs in frozen) a whole 6ish gallon run with 4 milk jugs to keep temps down. Put this little guy in-line like you pointed out to just knock it down, then have the milk jugs, and everything should run cooler.

I'm wondering if a fan blowing through a car radiator would cool sufficiently with the warm water coming in and cooler water going out to the worm would work....that's hillbilly shit right there

thats real old school

@@emoneyblue I was kinda thinking have a little setup maybe to precool the water going into the vevor chiller
