The Viaduct Theme - Extended

The Viaduct Theme is one of the most iconic pieces of music from Season 2 of Thomas & Friends. I can’t believe I haven’t thought about making these theme before, but this remix was fun to compose. It’s sad that we never got any renditions of this theme after Season 4. But in my opinion, every version of this theme from the show was great.
I always appreciated how Season 2 started creating more atmospheric, non-character themes. These include the Watermill Theme, the Ghost Train Theme, and of course, this theme. As always, enjoy!

I'll be honest. At times, Thomas can be worse than the big engines. Like here, he basically shows that he would feel no remorse if Henry and his passengers were killed. He can be downright horrible at times.

I have to say, behind Henry's theme, this is probably my second-favorite theme from the show. And that's saying a lot, considering how many excellent themes there are.

Oh yes, there are so many great themes it’s hard to choose. But I def think Henry’s theme and the Viaduct theme are some of the best from S1-2, they have a certain... emotional quality

I always loved this theme too. I think S2 did a good job at creating more atmospheric themes. Like the watermill theme, ghost train theme, and especially this one.

This is a terrific theme as well as Henry the Green Engine theme and many other Thomas and Friends themes but those two are my favourite themes

Bigg City Port never ceased working. Operations carried out through the night & continued in the early mornings. Goods stacked high along the docksides were brought into port by road & by rail. The lorries & wagons were then reloaded with cargo from incoming tramp steamers, ferries & liners. The delivery: To England cities & towns. Everybody & every method of transport played a part in moving goods into & out of the port. The main part of the operation was coal, without this dirty stuff, industry would've ground to hault. On this very busy day, Big Mac arrived at the briefing having worked all night.
