Considering what was going on in Europe - Cubism, Fauvism,. Vorticism etc., and the Colourists are doing still life, (Peploe and his black lines around fruit) and derivative landscapes. No mention here of Fergusson, who outshone them all but of course it's a puff-piece for a sale of not-very-good paintings and if you like this sort of thing, fair enough but they are not investments. The movement has not aged well and prices have long since peaked.
