@@earlyriser03 well if you watched it with jenny..greg..jessee ..angie...erica..palmer..daisey..phoebe..langley...cliff..nina...theres no comparison to the last years..not bitter just calling it out for the dip in quality...back then thier were big events..epic adventures ..hrand weddings..humour...but above all pinevalley felt like a community of diverse characters...i mean u had opal...bennie..dottie..edna..liza ..marion...the glamourama!! ...humour and high drama..at end it was shlow storytelling with beautiful people in amazing clothes....

@@hrh-xj4fh like I said, the show fell off for you. And that’s ok. You outgrew it or it outgrew you. However, it didn’t lack for any of what you listed in its later years and calling it “unwatchable” is BS. I have relatives that are likely older than both of us that watched AMC for literal decades. And they largely enjoyed it to its conclusion and would say so, even with hindsight. I guess by your thinking they’re not “true fans”.

I watched it for 26 years. Pine Valley was where it was at every week day at 1;00. Thorsen and I have the same birthday. I met him once at the car show in DC when he did a public appearance and he was such a nice guy. This is the only soap I ever watched. Debbie use to live in my hometown of MD. They all look so good. I miss the show so much.

Ill keep it real amc was gold from its debut..till about 2000...after that..subpar...any real amc in hinndsight will admit it...its like we have rose colored glassess..case in point...we all looove the jeffersons...but if u watch it back objectivley it was great from season 1 to 5...after that...not as good..just like dallas it was great season 1 to 8...not so great after that....keepun it real...😊

And AMC and OLTL were replaced with LiFeStYLe shows. The Chew lasted 7 seasons and The Revolution lasted a whopping 1. Neither had the viewership these serials had. ABC in those days was the absolute worst.
